Camilla is like the baby spice of the group, she's making them look like they're from disney or something so hearing her sing the chorus is funny. I also miss the x factor days where Lauren was the lead vocals, it just seems so right, like if there was a leader in this group, it should be her cause she looks the part and she seems like the most mature one in the group.

HOLDUP. Before you start hating, the girls said in an interveiw that the way they choose who sings what is they all sing it individually and then the producers decide who sang it best. The reason camila sings so much is because her voice is better at some parts of songs than other girls,so dont hate on her. Its not her choice who sings the parts.

Petterson Augusto lauren didn't get a solo here but in the other songs she did...she leads in we know, she has a solo in SH, she does the adlibs in GN + starts the song, again in reflection where she sings the prechorus...she can'tget tired of having limited participation when she is used in almost all songs

If you watch their interviews she's always doing her thing and doesn't even care what they talk about.. and her taste in music (Lana del Rey, The 1975, Mumford & Sons, Nirvana) is WAY different than Fifth harmony's style, so if one of the girls decides to leave the group it'll be Lauren and the group will completely fail without her because her voice brings more maturity to the group and doesn't make it just a "girl band".

It would be really, really nice to have a single/promo song/album track that doesn't feature Camila as the lead vocalist. She definitely has a special sound, and her voice is beautifully unique, but it must be hard for the other girls to sit back and twiddle their thumbs. They all have amazing talent, and I don't think it's asking a lot to have that talent showcased. Dinah was left out on Bo$$, even though her voice would have been amazing on it, and passed over again on Sledgehammer. It was such a relief to hear Normani shine on Bo$$, seeing as she has always had smaller parts in the past... But to pass over Lauren on a track like this, when she has the most sultry and sassy tone in 5H, it feels like a smack in the face. The fans don't want another Destiny's Child. We don't want another Pussycat Dolls. We want Fifth Harmony, emphasis on "Fifth" and "Harmony". Every girl should get the chance to sing on a track, and if it can't be equal, at least share the spotlight. Camila can't sing everything, despite producers, management and epic trying to convince the fandom otherwise. Please, let Reflection be representative of all five girls. pinky997 I listened to dance in the late 90s-00s. The chorus, as simple as it is, is something that resonates. There were a lot of people who had trouble with hyphy/happy/clublandy stuff back then also. It was just that it wasn't mainstream. There is really nothing "new" about this. It is like a hodgepodge of different 90s dance genres, all kinds of r&b, some jazz, with hip hop overlay. The biggest difference is the lyrics. Back then, lyrics (depending on the genre) were either written to give a very detailed story, or they were left wide open for interpretation. You could hear a song that might have been written about sex, and interpret it as something completely different. There has always been simple pop, and it just gets more and more base, holding you down in those lower frequencies. It's sad, but they got it down to a science now.
I agree, I'm more into 80s and 90s music because the music actually had meaning and substance lol. All of this type of music is just a bad influence on kids because of the obnoxious lyrics...it's ridiculous. But obviously I ain't gonna go out of my way to be a hater cuz that's just pointless and in the eyes of these 'superstars' my opinion would be irrelevant.

I don't know why people are comparing their solo distributions to One Direction's. Harry, Zayn, and Liam have always been the stronger vocalist of the group, so it was understandable that they took the lead, especially on their debut album; however, unlike Niall and Louis, Lauren is not one of the weak vocalists of the group, so what is the reason she continues to be pushed to the back? If Camila's pop-esque tone is the only reason/excuse for her singing lead, then I will continue to call bullshit. Who listens to the radio, or purchases music, because of the tone of someone's voice? Their label should spend less time trying to make Camila the perfect, pop girl and spend more time on making good, quality music as a group. At the end of the day, I couldn't care less if they had a hit single or not. I want an amazing album. Harmonizer or not, I refuse to buy an album full of Camila's vocals. As for this song, Dinah >> and that's that.

Dinah: High notes, belts, runs Camila: runs & riffs, Ally: belts, high notes, Normani: whistle notes, bass notes, big range, Lauren: low notes and best voice for harmonies (imo)
In addition, all the girls can hold their own live but it is clearly not the case for 1D where Louis and Niall often struggle with staying on pitch in live performances. We can't compare 5H and 1D as they are simply of different calibre & talent.

She never once had a song where she only had six words like Ally in Miss Movin' On, and never once had a song where she didn't get to sing at all, like Dinah in the latest singles.
