This isn't auto tune, for those of you who have zero idea how production and vocal processing works most vocals (aka all your favorite artists) most often undergo a process called pitch correction. This is where the pitches of notes are manually corrected to account for small errors in singing. This is entirely different to auto tune. Auto tune is tpain and kesha, this is pitch correction which is used on about every major label release. It doesn't mean she's a bad singer, it's simply to make the finished product sound as perfect as it can be. Educate yourselves, damn.
If it's noticeable it's going to be labeled as auto tuned. In general, people see it as a general term for audible vocal manipulation. It's no T Pain, but you can tell she had some trouble singing in pitch.

Zedd is using the same synth he used for Shave It, as well as the same song structure as Spectrum, especially with the siren at the beginning of the final verse. Even the cutaways are similar to his remix of Scary Monsters on the off beats. Unlike Break Free, this actually sounds like Zedd, it just has Selena. This isn't auto tune, for those of you who have zero idea how production and vocal processing works most vocals (aka all your favorite artists) most often undergo a process called pitch correction. This is where the pitches of notes are manually corrected to account for small errors in singing. This is entirely different to auto tune. Auto tune is tpain and kesha, this is pitch correction which is used on about every major label release. It doesn't mean she's a bad singer, it's simply to make the finished product sound as perfect as it can be. Educate yourselves, damn.

Zedd is using the same synth he used for Shave It, as well as the same song structure as Spectrum, especially with the siren at the beginning of the final verse. THANK YOU. I'm a fan of all of Zedd's work, and to be honest I don't like how people say they want the "old zedd" back. The music he makes now is practically the same thing he has been making since 2012. Sure its slightly more pop oriented, but you can definitely still hear his signature sound.
