  • I like this inexpensive and simple hard floor cleaner from Bissell. Here I show how I use mine to clean and shine the hard flooring in my home.
Here is a link to the Spinwave, and the extra pads I bought:

So far so good with this vacuum. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

Just bought this today after having had it with my mop and bucket. When I swiffered afterwards it looked like I hadn't done a thing. I have new luxury vinyl linoleum. This machineI is AWESOME. have new baseboards (6 1/2 inch) and the pads just gently massaged them. No damage. My "white glove test" was to run a swiffer pad across the floor ... NOTHING on the pads!! (Unlike mop / bucket .. looked like I hadn't cleaned.) I LOVE the fact I don't have to deal with DIRTY water afterwards.
Tip: Pay the extra $50 and get the CHORDLESS - it's SO NICE!!
Thx for the instructional video. I appreciate it.

So I completed moppng my floor and drying it with the mop. I then took a white, damp cloth and ran it on the floor and it came up dirty. Well I just freaked out and then I realized something so simple! It's a MOP! You have to rinse out your mop AS YOU MOP! I realized this as I was washing out the pads in the kitchen sink. I also realized, if you are using a DIRTY pad on your floor, the mop has just morphed into a nice FLOOR SANDER! Make sure there are NO grains of dirt on the floor. So my pads are clean again, going to go over the floor a second time and see if I can get it clean for real! Oh, one other thing, if you have any pain in your wrist or hands, this is not the mop for you. My left wrist just starts screaming when I use it.

Do you spray SHOUT degreaser to the pads before washing them in the washer?
So the machine doesn't suck up the dirty water into the tank, all the tank does is store the water and chemical before you spray the mixture on the floor to be cleaned?
Where did you buy the extra pads from for the machine? Bissell? Amazon?
Final questions, did applying the Pledge wood gloss to your wood floors make the floors slick to walk on?
How old are those wood floors in your kitchen? They turned out pretty good in the end.

Looks like you already have damage from wetness as your edges are beaming up. Looks like they maybe composite wood. And you never want to use red or yellow based liquids or messes that easily blend into the color of the wood. You may as well spread and thin it out across and you wont be able to tell or clean the grooves...which you shouldnt have grooves, but you do as the floor got wet and damaged(hopefully this is a demo floor). Those tiles are actually pretty cool and a classic look. Maybe a update around it would have them stand out nicely.

I see it sells for 109 at Walmart. Only thing I would recommend is not to store the bottle with the machine. I ruined my Bissel carpet cleaner by storing the bottle with the solution in it on the cleaner. It ruined the screw top on the bottle and I could not find where they had another bottle to buy, not even another screw top for the bottle. I would take the bottle off and let it dry out completely then store it on a shelf.

Rinsing is optional, but i do it because it's an effective way to get the leftover soap/chemicals off the floor. I don't want to be walking around barefoot on chemicals after I clean. Also, If you get the soapy residue off the floor, the floors will stay cleaner longer afterward, saving you work down the road. Thanks for watching Iris!

I feel even more confused after watching this video......it looks like a complete "four-cycle" method would give you the best result of getting rid of all dirt, water streak, marks, or whatever. But apparently the so called steam mops couldn't apply this method. So why are there lots of people swear that they are super satisfied with their steam mops? Does it mean steam mops can achieve the same great results with only ONE cycle of mopping, meaning steam mops are more efficient and effortless than this product? I slightly preferred this one over the steam ones because of spinwave's light weight, quiet operation, and easy access to small areas. But the annoying beep sound! And the four, or three cycles! Mmm......
