    I tried it. It gets hard very quickly. Soon dropped to sets of 10. Did 410 in the same time Laura did 1000! She is a mensch beast and I take my hat off to her.

    "Everyone said it was horrible, but they were all boys so I wanted to show a girl could do it." Amazing. I did 100 burpees a few times. I can't imagine doing 10 times that.

    I do military/prison style burpees. Done 500 before just over an hour. Not yet done the 1,000. Maybe will give it a try after my main challenge. You have awesome endurance & great time. Very inspiring.

    a great way to reinforce delicate wrists
    is using boxing wraps which allow
    quick-twist adjustment
    for loosening when resting
    and the layering allowing for
    well-fitted but very firm support
    that doesnt squeeze

      hey! I think doing them in my mum's kitchen which was quite a cool temperature helped. Usually, I sweat loads when I exercise.

    she did this in a very good time I did 300 burpees today. I've never done 1000 burpees. I did 500 on 2 occaisons. I want to try and do 1000 to push myself to the next level.

    Did 1000 burpees today I started off trying to get my chest to the ground butt this was too hard as the workout went on. I feel this was my hardest ever workout.

    Laura! I love burpees too!! I do burpees challenges in my videos as well. Kudos to you for working out during the quarantine.     Well done! Love your challenges and down to earth attitude. In honour of a female ‘Tour de France’ next year, what about cycling the total distance of the Tour de France which is 3,414kms with an elevation gain of 3,000m? In total the Tour de France includes 8 flat stages, 5 hilly stages and 6 mountainous stages. Whether on the road or on an indoor bike, I think you should set yourself this challenge!! Go girl! You can do it!

    That... was... amazing! I did 100 burpees for 100 days last year (and was successful). The last 4 sundays i did AMRAP for 1 hr and maxed out at 535. My elbows still hurt! I can't even imagine going into 1000 cold! Amazing!

    When I was in the US Army, 1969 - 1979, there was an exercise called the Squat Thrust. From standing, count 1 was to go into a squat. Count 2 was to kick your legs to the rear. Counts 3, 4, 5, and 6 were 2 pushups (down, up, down, up). Count 7 was to return to the squatting position and count 8 was to return to standing. We'd do 10 or 12 repetitions of these along with 10 or 12 repetitions of other exercises, then go on a 3 mile run. Well, if you call double time in formation (aka the "Airborne Shuffle") running.

    I remember when Tommy Hackenbruck
    did 1000 as penance for not doing as he wished
    in the 7min max reps burpees Crossfit qualifier
    (he still went to Games but he was always up
    for overcoming)... did a 100/day project for
    some months yrs ago (2019?) and learned
    quite a lot... now Im inspired to do this
    myself someday but with my more
    easiest style thats more of a crawl-up

    Those wrists afterward look painful I hope they fully recovered. I myself have mobility issues with my wrists and have to do daily stretches and strengthening just to keep the mobility I have. 20 minutes of handstand training and my wrists aren’t feeling there best.
    This is a great channel and I’m happy I stumbled upon it, keep up the great work 😃

    I just wanted to mention that your increase in muscle mass and decrease in body fat from that one measurement is likely much more to do with dehydration/muscle water retention and blood flow/glycogen depletion/post burpee meal.
    Doing a Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (smart scale) measurement right after intense exercise can underestimate body fat and overestimate muscle mass because hydration changes the measured resistance to the small electrical currents, giving an inaccurate reading.
    Even with amped up growth hormone, a lot of the research shows that people can maximally accumulate up to a 0.5 kg of muscle mass a week, but certainly not more than that in a single day. Not to say you haven't built muscles with the challenge- but definitely be aware of the fact that smart scales are much more inaccurate if you've just done something that influences your hydration/water retention! Even something like your menstrual cycle will throw off these measurements fairly significantly.
    Regardless, supreme effort and wonderful video!

    another cool way
    is to use a basement wkt rm
    or doorway so you can TOUCH
    an overhead "target" every rep
    also
    run a fan to help cooling
    along w/ a good drink 2L
    to keep going faster rather
    than slowing for overheat
    and low energy

    A couple of years back I aimed to do 1500 burpees in under 6 hours for charity. Frustratingly I dislocated a finger a couple of days before the challenge which meant I had to adjust the way I positioned that hand and even that small adjustment meant that by the 500 mark I was cramping in my hips and was reduced to during sets of 5 and then having to stretch out before continuing. I failed to meet the mark and completed 1350 in the 6 hours so your timing here is really impressive - congratulations!

      Hey Maria, thanks for your concern with my lower back. I do daily yoga and prehab to keep my body fit and healthy 😀 This was a one-off challenge and I feel confident I am going to live long, happy and healthy 👌🏼
