Skier swerves to avoid? Skier skied directly towards bear. People are dumb. I was actually hoping the bear might catch him. Video cuts out. Maybe she did!!
I know that living in bear country makes you pretty numb after a while. But you should stop and let them pass, getting so close to the cub is pretty stupid...

Did anyone forward this to the COs. That’s wildlife harassment. If you’re clueless enough to not stop and continue when you see a mother bear and her cub, then you wholly deserve what’s coming to you. That bear could’ve leapt earlier and be on the skier for what, 10 sec rush?!?
What the hell is wrong with people. Stop, observe, make noise. Let them pass through to the woods.
Would stopping on skis uphill from a bear be potentially deadly? If the bear charged and you didn't have any momentum to get past them you'd be done.

If that skier stopped, he/she would have likely been charged. No harm was done! What a stupid comment.
The bear and cub were moving away and in no way interested in the idiot up the hill. Skiing past was a stupid and selfish move. Would love to see him fined by fish and game
