It's a 7 year old track that I just found that is a mix of Rap Rock and Techno!!! It is Truly FIRE!!!! "Fire" from Freckled Angel's album! Definitely going on my daily playlist!!!
Conceptually, this was influenced heavily by George Orwell’s Animal Farm (“four legs good, two legs bad” written on wall in opening scene) along with a lot of Kubrick influences - Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, etc. I love the tribal beat and his growl/roar 🦁 The “yum yum yum yum” added some twisted sadistic humor that fit so well 😜 And yes, this was filmed in one take. It took quite a few hours to get it all set up and get a finished take. It was filmed at his friend’s apartment with about 80 of his friends. If you read the description, Ren describes the process. It was very ambitious! Even the last scene was just backlit using the headlights of a car, but it looks so cool. He was so excited about this one!! I enjoy it more each time I listen/watch it.
yes to all above...please also notice that at the end he is using the cane instead of flourishing it.... he's neither 2 legs nor 4 legs, but 3. Ren never misses a chance to take things deeper.

The video is a single take... Ren said it took them about 9 hours, and countless takes to get one that didn't have fails (people tripping, or not being in place, etc..). This last one was filmed around 4am, and pretty much everyone was completely exhausted.

Have you read 'Animal Farm'? This is Ren's homage to it. I've been bopping my head and doing the kitty paw dance to this since was released. I think it might be my favourite Ren track so far. Except maybe 'Money Game' parts 1 &2. As a mother of three in her mid 40's, I never thought I'd be listening to this type of music, but I jumped on the Renwagon 2 months ago and haven't been able to get back off 😅😅😅 He dropped this on Thursday but I couldn't watch it until later as I was at my first ever PTX concert in London. I was seriously tempted to chuck my earbuds in and watch it anyway, and considering I've been waiting for YEARS to see PTX, that's saying something. PTX were brilliant, btw. 😊

Being a 65 yr old Ren always reminds me of Pink Floyd. Comfortably Numb, Animals album (based on Animal Farm) etc......Check out -One Of These Days - Pink Floyd Pulse concert, great pigs. So I'm a true fan. I think he has a depth of thought as Roger Waters. Glad to see a new artist who can do that and be timeless.

The first painting of dogs playing poker was done back in about 1895. And Ren threw in that referent. Dude is a brilliant phenomena at the moment. Thank you for reacting to anything by Ren. Bisecting or dissecting Ren's brain may be too much of a challenge for normal human beings. Yes it's Animal Farm, one of my favorite books. Many other references in this video. I would love to be inside Ren's brain, I feel a commonality with him that sometimes scares me but mostly excites and thrills me. I keep seeing the genius of Ren. I am seeing the connections of his lyrics to other written works of art in literature. Truly amazing. Ren is amazing! I also wondered about the mind of George Orwell from some of his other books. The Dunta Dunta at the start sounded like the Oompa Loompa song from Willy Wonka. Ren has said that he wanted the rhythm of the song to be tribal and he gave a shout out to Kanye's Black Skinhead (think he was mentioning that it was an influence on him). Lots of influences in this one, Willy Wonka, Animal Farm, Clockwork Orange etc etc. A masterpiece

In this song, he's playing host and giving the listener a guided tour of what it's like to live in his mind. The lyrics and visuals in this song are pure madness but it's so good!

He did this last year before Hi Ren blew up and he was getting such global attention. I can just imaging the conversation with the other tenants in the building...lol.
