When Ren was basically on his death bed he got down to 130 lbs, he is 6'1". He said he was weak, frail and he felt embarrassed he had gotten so weak. He promised he would never let his body deteriorate like that again. It seems no matter how much pain he is in or how sick he is, he finds some way to work out or exercise. He doesn't want to be weak and frail again. He has no control over the few meats and veggies he can eat because he is allergic to basically every food. He has to take anti-rejection drugs for the few foods he can eat. Exercising and lifting weights is all he can control. His last weight was about 170 lbs.
His illness also moves the goal post. Every time he feels like he has found the right path to living a healthier life and the strength and ability to create and perform the music he loves so much he gets knocked back down and his goals are pushed just out of reach. I feel confident that his resilience and determination will get him back on track once again.
It was recorded in Canada before the whole Kujo thing happened, so if the breathing thing is a throwback, it is a throwback to Sick Boi. When he is crouching at the beginning I think this may be a throwback to part of his story, where he said he would sometimes crouch crying in the shower (on the track it starts off sounding like shower water, then changes to a mechanical sound like you might hear in a slaughterhouse)

He definitely works out because he’s posted videos about it. I think he’s so lean with no body fat because he’s only been eating chicken and vegetables for years now
Close enough...beef/duck about 5 or 6 veggies and a couple of herbs, coconut oil, and he has been able to tolerating just plain white rice cakes. His diet is expanding...in the last 8 yrs he added bok choy and the white rice cakes..😂 He said being stuck on blended chicken with vegetables for years makes him hate chicken now and is also sick of lamb.

and with that diet comes very low body fat %. he looks like a body builder right before competition with body fat under 3%
