@@toastie7582 Nomura has a bad habit of creating unnecessary plot holes. One of the biggest plot holes (EDIT: It's a small plot hole, but Nomura's poor attempt to fill it makes it a big one instead) is how Kairi can wield the Keyblade. Riku could've easily avoided it by not giving Kairi a Keyblade and asking her to stay near him. It's not like Kairi HAS to wield a Keyblade. Even if he MUST make Kairi wield a Keyblade, just make it so that all princesses can wield any Keyblade because their hearts are pure. That's it.
The idea that you can give someone ability to wield the Keyblade is absolutely atrocious, contradictory to the original idea (the Keyblade's chosen one), and I HATE it so much.
I also hate Ventus. It's an insult to our intelligence. Also, why the fuck does Lea look exactly the same as Axel? Why the fuck are there like a dozen of Xehanort?
@@anonymouspokemon4623 Actually, that does gave a reason, although a kinda stupid one, but it does give some ideas on how Keyblade Inheritance works. Laura touching the Aqai' Keyblade handle in Radiant Garden, caused Aqua to unintentionally pass on to Kairi the ability to use the Keyblade, like Terra did for Riku, just unintentional. Why Riku had to give Kairi her Keyblade, if don't know. But I does show that Keyblades can be transferred unintentionally, as long as the receivers heart is compatible.

The first game has already established lots of things, INCLUDING Keyblade's inheritance that you said.
The Keyblade chooses its wielder, depending on the wielder's heart. If a wielder dies, the Keyblade will find another wielder. That's how every Keyblade is inherited.
KH2 was released BEFORE all the side games. All of what you said was Nomura's attempt to fill the Kairi's Keyblade plot hole, and in the end, instead of filling a small plot hole, it just creates bigger ones.
@@anonymouspokemon4623 I just kinda disregard old explanations for the newer ones. It can be argued that no one that explained about the Keyblade know fully how it works. The Final Fantasy Crew barely knew anything about his the Keyblade worked, only the important stuff, like how it can look keyholes, and that it's an incredibly powerful weapon.
It's easy to think they just didn't know about some aspects of the Keyblade. Plus, it's not like they said Keyblade Inheritance was the ONLY way to get a Keyblade, maybe it's just one way, being chosen is another.
It's not to outlandish to explain if you take in context. Leon and the crew only knew what Mickey likely told them, and I doubt it was more than what was necessary. They Keyblade is ment to be a very secret weapon, as showed by the Birth By Sleeps surprise when people recognize it, people aren't supposed to know about the Keyblade.
If it is something meant to be a secret, it makes since and Mickey wouldn't give a full explanation on how to Keyblade works to Leon and crew. He likely only told them what he thought was necessary.
It's not hard for me to accept stuff like this, as long as theirs a reasonable explanation. This is one such thing.

Don't really understand the Goofy hate. He's low-key the smartest and most logical character in the game which is honestly just hilarious in and of itself. Don't know why but he's become my favorite Disney character in the existing KH games so STOP hating on my Goofy boi!!!!
Not to mention the most loyal to sora he blocked riku super arc ball of darkness and destruction before donald and in 3 he is even smarter plus that goofy bombadier
You know what's weird? Out of all the characters in the group, goofy is the straight man, fucking goofy
Donald kept dying in my battle against Lingering Will while Goofy hung in there like a champ and got some great chip damage on Lingering Will.
And even Donald got me critical heals against Lingering Will even if he kept dying, so props to sacrificing his life (multiple times) so Sora could live.

Here’s a tip: you know that really annoying car fight? The one where THEY WONT FRICKEN STOP DRIVING INTO ME AND BEING INVINCIBLE. yeah if you had trouble like i did, just use chicken little...seriously chicken little is just...good.
Those things are a bitch in crit mode, so your advice is far and wide appreciated, I’m sure.
You can also use counterguard if you have it.
I can understand that the Roxas prologue was weird for experienced KH players but I will always take its defense as it was my first contact with this awesome series and totally sold it for me. The layback, unimportant everyday life shit that slowly turns into some inception end of the world was a kick in the feelings bag

Dreddick123 When I first saw Goofy got hit in the head by a boulder, I literally laughed for a few seconds when I realized this wasn't funny, and it was the most awkward moment I had while playing a Kingdom Hearts game.

Not sure why my experience is different, but Donald and Goofy are mass murdering maniacs for me every time I play the game. Even on proud mode.
Half the time I can't even get a hit on the heartless to upgrade my drive forms without Donald dropping the thunder of heaven like Thor and smitting all the weaker foes or Goofy barreling at them like a train going off a track.
In Hades I just ran through the whole tunnel cave area without stopping bc they would immediately slaughter every Heartless in my path.

@@alonsoaballay4671 No he's not wrong. Same thing happened to me with KH1. I just beat KH2 yesterday for the first time and I only died in Organization XIII fights. I only used King Mickey 4 times and that was in the same fight. If it wasn't for that 1 boss in Beauty and the Beast 2nd Visit, I would never have known about a King Mickey feaure.

For me Goofy is a God on every difficulty while Donald never does shit for me. More often than not he'll pointlessly heal me than Attack. While Goofy is just a mass murdering Psychopath. It's why a lot of the time I find myself using Wisdom Master or Limit because Donald doesn't help anyways. Either that or Two Become One Final Form spam is always an option. I usually use Master or Limit but sometimes I trigger Anti on purpose when I'm really pissed at a boss. Anti Form maybe detrimental in most cases but going all in on Lingering Will is not one of them.

Here's a quick rundown of the Final Mix exclusive super bosses:
Data Xemnas I:
Learn to guard. No seriously, the whole fight is all about guarding. Also always go for the third reaction command.
Data Xemnas II:
In 2.5 HD Remix the crucial reaction commands will bug out quite often, so when you find yourself thrown into the air, you may want to use reflect every now and then. Also Riku's limit break is useful. Oh and block his 'heart sparing' skill by using a reflect or some other spell with i-frames, or a limit, I dunno, just don't let him use this ability.
Data Xigbar:
Combo Plus up to 5 ground attacks, because you'll be spamming Reflega like it's your last day. Stack up ethers or summon Stitch (he gives you MP when ever ya need it) and spam that bad boy. Or get the reflexes of a god in a 30 fps game.
Data Xaldin:
Reflect that air projectile thing, then either guard his physical attacks or block them with the double jump like a pro, combo him but avoid combo finishers because it's hard to get away from him if he retaliates. Use Magnega in the third phase until he starts dropping spears from the sky on you, so you can stack up on reaction commands again.
Data Vexen:
Look up the speedrun strat. Just do it, this boss is horrible.
Data Lexaeus:
The easiest boss. Just dodge all the stuff or reflect all the stuff and the boss is done.
Data Zexion:
Jesus christ.. Okay. Hold R2 while locked on to find the right target. You cannot stunlock him if he's doing attacks, so avoid the attacks, then combo him so you can get out of the book world. Combo him and then rince and repeat. In the second and third phase always use a reflect at the start, because otherwise he completely screws up your command menu. And in the third phase he does his lightshow trick. The light changes 13 times. Pause scum that shit, because you won't have the reflexes for it.
Data Saix:
Unlike in the normal fight, you're invincible while riding one of the berserker swords. So the moment you get one, hurry the fuck up to Saix and beat the shit out of him before he starts spamming his DM again. Or just use the Peter Pan strat and loop his AI until he's dead. Fun.
Data Axel:
This guy's actually pretty fun. The easy way to do it is just using Blizzaga in your combos, but you really don't need it. All ya need is to just dodge roll, and spam triangle when ever he jumps into the flames, because spamming triangle doesn't prevent you from doing anything and you will do a reaction command if one pops up. You can block all of his attacks, but he can circle around you so be careful with what ever you end up guarding.
Data Demyx:
Put Firaga into your shortcuts. Now. Get a crap load of ethers, Stitch won't save you here. And then go into Wisdom form when ever the numbers go up to 50 or above. And you better have drive form at the end of the fight, because he throws 99 water clones at you at the end and you have only 30 seconds to kill them all. Also physical attacks don't do anything to the clones anymore.
Data Luxord:
Pause scum everything. No seriously, you will need to do it, all of his mini-game attacks are ridiculously fast now.
Data Marluxia:
A pretty easy fight. When ever he charges up his scythe and then starts spinning like a madman, there are two things ya can do. If you block twice in a row, you can flip up his scythe and regain your 'hit points'. But if you block once and use a counter attack at the end, you can use a reaction command to take away an entire health bar from him and follow it up with a combo.
His two DMs are easy to deal with. When ever he starts spinning around, you can just dodge through it and block it, walk around in circles. The moment he looks like a person again, attack him because he will teleport away as soon as he can. With the other one, just glide in a wide circle around the arena. This way none of the pillars will hit you, nor his scythe. Though once the spinning scythe vanishes, get ready to dodge or reflect.
Data Larxene:
Reflega. You fucking need it. Take a step towards her at the start and use it immediately, or you're stunlocked to death. Once she gets her clones out, you can basically loop her AI by hitting her revenge value and following it up with a reflect. In third phase you need to use more reflects in a row because her retaliation attack lasts longer. Good luck.
Data Roxas:
You can block all of his physical attacks. Though once the pillars of light start showing up, I suggest using reflect to block his circle attack, or just dodging the whole thing. You can still block his normal combo just fine since he moves faster than the pillars of light. His DM can only be avoided with a fast glide. Also never, fucking never hit his revenge value in the second and third phase, because one of his retaliation attacks is impossible to avoid.
Lingering Will:
Git gud. You heard me.

Lingering Will:
Either you practice for 100th times or do the cheese
Data Xemnas:
Just pray and kill him
Data Xigbar:
Block and Reflect that son of a bitch that man is annoying at Critical Mode
Data Xaldin:
Oh you better have Magnega equipped cause his Aero Guard can instantly kill you and equip Reaction Boost ability
Data Vexen:
just- just break his shield and equip Bond of Flames and Fire Boost go Final Form then spam Firaga ( no finisher cause it will ruin the Firaga spam )
Data Lexaeus:
Oh you better run when he's dashing at you or tried to grab you cause he's a strong dude but people called him the easiest member but only in Absence Sillohoutte cause he hits HARD and has MORE HEALTH also retialiates and spam the fricking earthbending move so parry when hes going to use his claymore to drag it up
Data Zexion:
get Reflega and Firaga his ass that man will destroy you in Critical Mode and Lv1 in Standard Mode and Proud Mode he's the easiest member but that changes in Critical Mode once in the Book World if you don't reflect in time before you get turned into a book say bye-bye cause Reflecting will cancel Sora turning into a book now Reflega is a good ass option in the Data Battle cause he can do the Tornado Books and you Reflect and it does massive damage all u need to do is land a finisher in the go to the blue light stage just hope u picked the blue lighf cause u will die
Data Saïx:
Funny Peter Pan
Data Axel:
Just loop him
Data Demyx:
This baby motherfucker is annoying in the beginning so get Goofy to stack in ethers and spam Firaga till there's no more wtaer clones and Demyx is vulnerable in couple of seconds just spam Firaga no finishers and we're good
Data Luxord ( aka one of the clever and best Org. Member ):
Luxord is okay just do the Reaction commands and use the time card to reduce his time guage then get all 4 ○ and you win
Data Marluxia:
Same thing to Lingering Will except you need Donald
Data Larxene:
Either Reflect her clones and she dies
Or
funny negative combo and fenrir cheese
Data Roxas:
At that point call him the basic Roxas cause you can abuse Limit Form and fucking whack his ass
With Axel you can literally loop him from start to finish with a reflect then following up with 2 blizzagas so you don't hit his revenge value. His first phase he will always move behind you and second phase straight towards you. Once he has 2 or 3 bars of health left he'll do two dm's in a row which are pretty easy to dodge and then just loop him once more before hitting his revenge value to force him into the fire so you can do the rc and finish the fight.

Also for data Xaldin make sure you equip everything you can to increase reaction command damage. You can 2-3 cycle him if you've got Auron's keyblade and the I think three stacking skills equipped.
Also data Xemnas is the only one that gives you a menu. Use it to refill your items and respec your kit for the second phase w/ Riku (including loading him up with megalixers and changing his AI for your style)
I believe Anti-Form was there mainly to punish players who lean on drive forms a little too much and use them very often. There is a hidden counter that increases in points each time you use a form, and the higher that counter is, the higher probability you will turn into your anti-form the next time you attempt to use a drive form.
Considering you cannot heal or exit out of this form at will its clear its meant to be a sort of punishment mechanic.
Well yeah,but it mainly translates to either turning randomly into anti in a boss fight or just wasting your time while grinding forms. I do like the idea,but i feel like it could have been implemented better.
Its not really built well to be a punishment. If you turn anti, youre essentially screwed in a boss fight, and its tied directly to a game system youre SUPPOSED to use. Its really only there as a neat little lore thing, and to be amazing in offensive power but lacking all forms of defense. They just kinda failed on delivery.

When I was younger I went to Atlantica and I covered my eyes as soon as I saw Sora was shirtless😂 I also kept yelling "Why sora whyyyyyyy"
I never had a problem with nudity. Not as a kid and not now. You know how everybody has no problem seing non human characters naked like Charzard, Guilmon, Sonic ect? Thats how it is fore me with humans as well.
When it comes to Digimon Tamers some people ...how should I put this? Seem to had problems with the main characters being naked when they fuse with there parntners and I am just like "What is the big deal? Guilmon is naked all the time."
To me the question is why not?
But that is an aspect about myself I apriciate. I am glad I am not botherred by nudity. A lot of works of fiction I like contain human nudity. Bayonetta, Made in Abyss and Digimon Tamers fore example.
One of my 2 favorite characters in all of fiction is actully shirtless all the time. Well he is not a human but he has a mostly human aparance.

Dunno if anyone else has tried this, but I found the best way to make Goofy useful. In the main menu, there's the "Customize" thing where you can set up shortcuts for Sora's items/magic/junk. You can also change the AI of your party members here as well. For the world-exclusive ones, I usually have them do their own thing (cause they're more useful than Donald), but for Goofy, set him to "Huddle Attack". He will stick closer to you than a fly stuck on flypaper and will be able to block most attacks heading your way with his massive shield (or his actual body). It really can save you in a pinch, and is the best way to use Goofy.
The best way to make Donald useful? Burn him. Roast his buns and serve him with a side of plum sauce.

This was my first Kingdom Hearts game, unfortunately. I actually found Kingdom Hearts by total accident, but I was totally hooked once I got a taste of the combat. It was beyond anything I've seen in my small little boy life. But the funny thing was that I actually thought this was the first game in the series. But that also means I literally feel like Roxas. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT EVEN IN THE HECKIE WAS HAPPENING. Like who is this blonde BOI? WHO'S THIS BOY HE DREAMS ABOUT? His boyfriend?! Who's Axel? I don't know an Axel! WHAT'S GOING ON!!!??? *Angrily chucks house keys on the floor*
Yup this is the best one in the series, in my humble opinion.
I started with KH2 as well. As a child I was confused but it did not take away from my enjoyment lol. Fast forward a decade and still lost 😂 but my fave game of all time

The prologue is great. It's what got me into the story
theheadlessguitarist Same, the melancholic and mysterious feeling, and the sad story they presented to us with it... I got additionally immersed because I was new to KH games, so I could relate to Roxas.

I feel like it's more effective without the context of 358. It's a really good story all on its own. 358 may give it more meaning, but it also makes it lose all of the mystery element, as well as the intentionally jarring nature of the intro.

A little note about antiform... you wont go into antiform outside of battle; if your worried that your gonna go antiform then active the drive before enemies spawn
I just started playing KH2 and the prologue was actually perfect in my opinion. I love Roxas and Twilight town and was real sad to see them go.

The prologue hits much harder if you played 358/2 days, and it's 358 days of the game and 7 days in KH2 for a reason, you won't like it, but its there
ehhhh, I feel like it's more effective without the context of 358. It's a really good story all on its own. 358 may give it more meaning, but it also makes it lose all of the mystery element, as well as the intentionally jarring nature of the intro.

I think the long peologue adds a lot to the atmosphere to kingsom hearts 2 and roxas as a character. maybe im one of the fewer people that loves to begin the game slow paced and not go right into the action like kh3 did with olympus. it was planned that 0.2 was the first 2 hours of kh3, i really think that would add a lot to the start of the game
While I do appreciate the idea, I feel if they had done that, it would have made the... admittedly pointless Disney Worlds seem _even more_ irrelevant and people would probably have gotten sick of the Demon Tower.

1. You control BOTH party members simultaneously, but your partner will start doing their own thing if you leave them alone. If that's not doing it for you, you can take control of them at any time.
2. Kill the Pig Noise. Hunt them down. They give you cool stuff. Just remember that some are invisible/invincible to you unless your partner is attacking them.
3. The pin in your first slot takes priority over the second slot, second slot over third slot, and so on. This is very important because some pins have similar commands, so equipping one in the first slot may prevent you from using another in a later slot.
4. Don't fight the blue Noise unless you're absolutely sure you're ready.
5. Different Noise drop different pins on different difficulties. The game keeps track of this in your log, and lowering your level will make item drops more likely.
6. Pins evolve with different types of PP, and this is essential to being competently powered. Look at a guide.

anti-form I found to be super helpful because you can attack super fast and even if you get reductions it just shreds through hp... honestly one of the bosses I had issues with I was hoping anti-form would come up because when it did I was able to destroy them with ease.

So this video was suggested to me in the middle of the night (ahh those lovely late night youtube adventures we all experience at some point) and I've never been happier to have a video suggested for me that I clicked on. While I've already defeated many KH games, the video was fun to watch on its own thanks to your super awesome voice, on point jokes, and the beautiful art of yourself (seriously, your SuperButterBuns pic is gorgeous). I still loved Atlantica. It was just a break from the tension to have some wholesome fun, like with Winnie the Pooh (even though the song was cringy). Also since Ariel is my favorite princess so I must stay loyal
Imagine Atlantica returning in KH4 with the KH3 underwater controls. The characters and the world design is gonna look AMAZING!
Honestly the only form that took me a while to grind up was final. It took for freaking ever!! The rest were fast and easy once I figured out what worked best. Trying to level them up naturally through game progression however would probably take a very very long time for most of them.

When people say to stay away from stuff they don't understand. That keyblade will force either anti or final. Use it till you get final then change it back. Also antiform is to make you not spam forms because they are so strong. Also final form reduces your antipoints making it less likely or not possible to go into antiform. Your welcome

i'll never forget how i got ultimate form. I was up against xigbar near the end of the game, I hit drive form and I go anti due to rng gods hating me. Despite my attack doing nothing my new agility helped me dodge his attacks. I get knocked out of it, build up the form again, hit it again, and this time it goes ultimate for the 1st time. letting me blast Xigbar away. Like something out a anime, I swear.
