That’s awesome. I had to work Wednesday. I almost never use minnows ice fishing. Usually I just use small tungstens tipped with spikes or plastics. If not that usually I’m using a slab grabber.
Nice setup! We have nothing fancy here for ice fishing except that hockey stick tip up we were talking about last night. That’s the perfect size right there.
It truly is. I haven’t had many big ones on camera yet but I’ve found that when they’re DONE being cautious the zoom in like a missile and destroy it 😂
Nice job! One thing about perch....if you dont know how to clean......well the end of the day anyone will haha. Lots to clean. We have a limit of 25 here. Yours?
Ours is 25 as well. I may just start using an electric fillet knife. The one thing I can’t stand about filleting fish is that it always kills my lower back for some reason.
That's encouraging to see all those perch right below! The water is so clear. Great underwater footage! I really like the colors on the perch. They look healthy! You're going to have a good snack.
@TheMichiganFisherman Off topic, did you create a second Instagram account? I see a second one with your name and the same profile picture. It reached out to me yesterday.
Sheesh, I went for the first time last weekend and we marked MAYBE 2 decent fish in 6 hours - we only caught a couple perch about 3 inches long >< By WE, I mean Matt caught 2 perch, and I got SKUNKED. You gotta take me next time!
That would be a blast, man. I’d like that. I went yesterday too but it wasn’t quite as amazing and I didn’t like the footage. I tried a new spot that didn’t pan out, but it was a learning lesson.
@@TheMichiganFisherman I’ve been looking into strategies for locating the fish - so far, I think I like the grid system approach, where you drill a hundred holes in a grid and move from hole to hole with the camera. Need a couple extra batteries for my auger lol
I've been starting to do that. Not 100 holes, haha, but maybe like 20 in a 4x5 pattern. If I do that with my 5" auger it's easy. 8" might be a pain in the butt.
This CRYSTAL CLEAR camera can be purchased here: amzn.to/48SA5kK
Limits on weds on metro. Over 200 fish caught. No minnows no waxys just a bead. Gd luck tight lines.

I probably caught about 50 in 3-4 hours. I wish my kids didn’t have a half day. 😂

Thanks! I’m about to head over to your channel now to see what it’s all about. Long form videos, that is.
Man I miss perch fishing in general. Good stuff
Thanks, Pauly. I can’t wait to get some jumbos on the camera.
It's amazing how cautious they seem to be before they decide to bite.

This camera is amazing!
Agreed. The underwater clarity is unmatched. You get what you pay for.
Lots a decent perch! Love the clarity of that camera!
Thanks for lying about the size of the perch. Lol. You Canadian boys would probably use those as bait for your perch. 😂
The clarity truly is amazing.
#savethebowfin
I'd like to see a Bowfin on camera
Man that looks like fun. One day, I will fish ice. I assume those heaters are powered by 1 pound propane tanks? LOL
Hahaha. Yes!
Also, I’m alive. I slept it off for a couple hours and feel much better.
@@TheMichiganFisherman Thats great to hear! Now about that $300 I lent ya....LOL

I like that camera. I never had clear water this year. Hopefully we will see more ice.
You pretty much need gin clear water for the camera to look like that. Yesterday was clear but not THAT clear and it shows.
Nice! I dig the underwater footage👍😎
Glad you enjoyed. I like it too.

Very nice! I like your new camera! You should do a comparison to the EYOYO. Do you think the ice will hold up after last nights rain?
I went out today. The fishing wasn’t nearly as good.
However the ice was still immaculate. 6” of ice 3/4 of a mile out.
@@TheMichiganFisherman thanks. I’ll be out in the AM
Some nice catches and some fantastic underwater footage - great stuff
Thanks, Sean. I'm loving the underwater cameras.
Cool underwater footage 🐟😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Now where are the Jumbos??? 😂
Nice slabs buddy! This melt down has to get those big girls excited. Gonna try and get out Saturday morning. Cool camera!👍
I hope you’re slamming ‘em right now. 8 o’clock hour was my best hour on this day.
Good clarity underwater. Nice perch day.
Yes it was! Not many big ones but enough for a sammich. 😂

Thanks, buddy. They were definitely delicious 😋
Most of the perch always seem to be healthy here, for sure.

For some reason I'm not getting notified of "Responses with new replies"... No. I didn't create a new one. Scam.

Nice session and some very cool footage. Enough big ones for a couple nice meals too. Great job Bryan and go Lions, I really hate the 49ers LOL
Thanks, Larry. They’re not only America’s team…they’re beloved worldwide. 😀
What’s your perch limit?
25 here in Michigan.
@@TheMichiganFisherman that’s a great limit. Alex seems to think they reduced our limit here in Ontario.
The fish below is a different channel 😅
I assure you it’s not. 😂
Where did you get the rod you used on the tear drop.
