Lake St. Clair is definitely one of those lakes that creates a love-hate relationship for me! Sometimes we have events that we don't want, but later down the road we understand why they happened and are better off because of them. Take a 29:07min gander and you'll see what I'm talking about!

Dude! Just so u know the largest smallies on St. Clair come on huge walleye cranks. Every time I’m walleye fishing just huge. Last one was 6 1/2 to 7 pounds.

How fortunate.. not only to fish at that level but also to have your wife, brother and good friends along for the ride. I could stand losing if it meant having family there. Keep working hard. Your videos and brand are excellent.

If Canada was open this year you would have had a lot more big ones. The structure is way different on the Canadian side and there’s some specific things you can target in addition to the Grass Flats. It’s been a tough year with only being able to fish American waters. The giants hide on the other side. The rivers hold some bigins but they’re tough to fish sometimes. This lake is a special place, no matter how much you know these smallies will teach you something new. Looks like they were light biting you, it happens a lot on the lake. They’ll nip at moving baits or just hold on to the tail of plastics and let go as soon you lift up. Happened a lot to me last week

Looks further because I’ve got a 52” instead of a 45” shaft
Only thing I noticed was every hook set your drag was loose not allowing you to get a good hook set. Keep on keepin on.

have you though about how color could have effected your hook to land ratio? most of the top guys in this event were using shad colored worms.

Your vids would be awesome if you showed where you are on the lake and why you chose the spot. I know this was a tourney so couldnt really do that but maybe sometime. I fish st Clair once a year and would love some ideas. Great video though.
