Can you refill disposable containers??? you can, but you shouldn’t…..eventually you will have problems

There are people every year that die filling those tanks that say eight on the tank Do Not Refill. Also if you transport the tank it's up to a 250000 dollar fine from dot.

I have had nthiing but problems since I bought mine. I read the reviews and thought this would be great for my shed and workshop. I have not been able to refill any of the six cylinders I bought more than once. I took the refill kit back thinking it might have been defective, since the likelihood that all six cylinders were defective seemed remote. The new kit made no difference. The small valves open and closse fine when not attached, and open fine when attached, but when the handle is pressed and liquid propane supposedly flows, the escaping air stops and basically nothing happens. I called the customer service number and got a lady that knew less about the product than I did. She put me on hold three times. I asked her if I could get a callback from someone more experienced and she put me on hold again. After a ten minute delay, I hung up. Right now I'm about $250 out of pocket (includes new propane tank) and nothing works. I feel as though I have no recourse but to return the product and advise others of "buyer's beware"; things don't always work like the videos show and the instructions say.

Do these cameras work well in the ocean? Not this particular one but fishing cameras in general. I usually fish for squid (Mid depth) or cuttlefish (Bottom) here in Spain and would love to try one out but I only see them used in lakes or ice fishing.

I just purchased the fuel keg refill kit and 8 fuel keg refillable bottles at tractor. Price out the door was $186.65 Total for everything I listed. Tractor supply is a good go to place if your looking 4 anything. They price match with no problems 😊 I'm a happy camper😊

I refilled Coleman bottles for years (still do), but as they age and have had multiple refilling, I tend to fill them until they stop taking fuel and DON'T purge them. Beings I mostly use the green bottles for the shop (and have a few dozen of them) I am really not concerned about getting them max filled.

When I fill my Flame Kings, it only takes 40 seconds. Why is that? Because I live where it's warmer? Or does it have something to do with the difference between the Flame King and the Fuel Keg?

I’m curious about filling the Coleman bottles. I tend to only use propane with my Coleman stoves for group camping when I’m doing a lot more cooking. Generally I cook over a biomass stove when solo camping so while the benefits of the fuel keg are obvious, I’m not sure it’s worth the cost of entry. . How necessary is the fill/purge process on the green Coleman bottles? Since the key concern seems to be overfilling them, especially if you fill them cold and then the weather warms up. Wouldn’t filling without purging prevent any possible overpressure scenarios? Or can you not even partially fill them without purging?

It's really simple with the Coleman tanks, if you don't trust them then don't do it very often, even if you fill it once, or twice you're still saving a buttload of money, as long as you're purging them and weighing them to make sure you're putting the proper amount inside you should have no issue then after you fill it the second time throw it away when it's done filling them once or twice and then disposing of them is absolutely not going to hurt anything as long as you do it right.

To small green tank fillers at home, don't fill those too many times. They rust from the inside over time, and aren't very thick.

listen to him... and pay attention.

If you put the fuel keg in the freezer for 10 minutes and get it really cold, the liquid propane entering the cold tank will not evaporate as much, resulting in less vapor release and a faster fill time. Just basic physics at work.

what do I do with my old propane tank the green ones can I just toss them in the garbage don't know what to do with them
