      There are a few Tories who've swallowed this ideology, too, and the LibDems are full of it; and most of the grass-roots opposition to it is coming from women on the left. It's not as left-right - as binary, ironically - as you might think. But, yes, the lefty groomers/trans activists are losing their minds, which is always cause for celebration. 😃

      Almost everything these people have said is a lie. Puberty blockers have been used in cis kids for decades, it's untested in the same way that statins are untested (puberty blockers are older than statins).
      The reason there is such a high blocker to transition rate is because they are only given if medical professionals are as certain as is possible that the kid is trans.
      And regret rates for medical and surgical transition hover hover around 1%, which is incredibly low with the average regret rate for other surgery being around 14% with the number for cosmetic surgery being around 20% (kids get nose jobs in the UK and nobody kicks up a fuss).

    • @liam7342
      @liam7342 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The reason they have stopped giving them is as part of an incomplete study that has had a public consultation stage where only 5% of responds were medically trained. Because of this ruling I guarantee there will be a spike in child and teen suicides and that is blood on the hands of people that think like you.

      @@BuckerydogSchmuckeryDogno they’re not, they are given to children going through precocious puberty. When those children reach their natural pubertal age, they’re taken off the blockers and continue their lives as per any normal teen their age. Those children may suffer long term side effects from the blockers but it’s considered much better for children who are 6, not to be having periods or have their voice breaking amongst other consequences. A friend of mines children both had precocious puberty very young and although their mum was hesitant to to allow them to have blockers, it beat them going to primary school dealing with all those symptoms. Now they’re in their late teens they’ve experienced a natural puberty and are doing well. That’s what they should be used for. Not restricting pubertal age children from going through what nature intended for their bodies. That’s the sort of thing a pedo would find desirable. But you know that.

      Correct. When I was treated for prostate cancer in 2017 I was given hormone therapy as part of my treatment. The hormone drugs stopped my body producing testosterone on which prostate cancer feeds. Those same drugs are used to treat precocious puberty in young children who are entering puberty too early. They are also used in transgender treatment. Seven years on from my treatment I still have side effects from it and I was only on the drugs for 6 months. I had to take the drugs to save my life. In most cases children don't need them. GThank goodness for the sake of our precious children the NHS is going to stop providing them. It should never have been allowed.

      We've been giving puberty blockers to children with precocious puberty for well over 80 years all to no ill effect. Puberty blockers are not in any way harmful and are completely reversible. Only people who don't know about puberty blockers or don't understand them want them banned. You are anti science and are preventing children from getting the healthcare they need. Fool

    Watching my 92 year old wonderful mother-in-law suffer in terrible pain whilst her husband of 70 years watches her suffer is utterly awful. She desires to be freed of her suffering as she slowly dies of organ failure, it is utterly wrong and frankly inhumane that she has to suffer for who knows how long as she slowly dies. Her husband holds vigil for her each day as she dies. Without a specific diagnosis she has no support from health or social care.
    We all watch her suffer.
    Let those who object to ending life with compassion and dignity at the end of life watch their own loved ones suffer in such a way. They will change their minds.

    Blockers are sometimes given to children that are going through precocious puberty. When those children reach their natural pubertal age, they’re taken off the blockers and continue their lives as per any normal child their age. Those children may suffer side effects from the blockers but it’s considered much better for children who are very young (often under 9) not to be having periods or have their voice break/growing a beard, amongst other consequences. A friend of mines children both had precocious puberty very young and although their mum was hesitant to to allow them to have blockers, it beat them going to primary school dealing with all those symptoms. Now they’re in their late teens they’ve experienced a natural puberty and are both doing well. That’s what they should be used for and only when absolutely necessary.
    Not for restricting pubertal age children from going through what nature intended. That’s the sort of thing a p3do would find desirable. But then these Frankenstein’s know that all too well.

    You can't reverse aging .. in other words, if you give a child puberty blockers form the age of 10 to 16 (they normal age for boys going through puberty) and they then change their minds at 17, that means they now have to go through "puberty" between the ages of 17 and 23 ... how can that be normal?
    Plus they have missed out on their youth (going through puberty normally at age 10)
