Just watched a vlog on getting ready for Passover. She cleaned her fridge, freezer, ovens, cupboards, pots, pans, garbage cans, car etc, it was like spring cleaning on steroids! The stress of the cleaning on top of the holiday would put me over the edge.

I downloaded and printed your Haggadah. I love how feminine but neutral it is. I have been cooking all morning. Taking a break now. Happy Pesach!

I love the way Mr. Max was counting. When my grandma was alive she’d count just like that, and my nephew does when he’s not paying attention. Hope you all have a wonderful Passover and Shabbat.

A Jewish guy wished me happy Passover because I said something about Easter. I told him about Jar of Fireflies' channel. He was impressed. Also, I left my wallet at the store. My uncle took me back to get it, thankfully it was still there, and everything was in it!! Also, I have frozen shoulder and start physical therapy tomorrow. I have to do a lot of cleaning too!!

@Michelle Sunshinestar - First, I sincerely hope your PT works wonders and you are fully restored to health!!! My left shoulder was recently injured, I am giving it the prerequisite “two weeks” recommended by WebMD before going to see my PCP. They recommend two weeks before going, because it may not be a rotator cuff tear, and it’s preferable to see if the joint returns to full motion and strength. If nothing changes, gets worse, or the ability to lift things as I should be able to does not return… it’s probably a tear. So, I am on the hook to see what I’m dealing with. I’m 3.5 days post injury… so, I’ll find out soon enough. 😉
Your post left me a wee bit confused. Some random Jewish man wished _you_ a Happy Passover *because* you mentioned Easter? 🤔 That’s… peculiar. Why would he wish you a greeting for a holiday you don’t celebrate? lol 😆
Although I am Jewish, I wish you a wonderful Easter holiday surrounded by those you love, and those who love you! I hope your festivities (whatever they may entail) is blessed with a spiritual blessing as well. 😊
Oh, and before I forget… I am so happy to hear your wallet was returned to you intact!!! Those little things help to restore my (very shaken in 2022) faith in humanity.
      Take care!! 😃

My synagogue has a small gift shop but like most is staffed volunteers from the women's group and they keep regular / irregular hours. If I call to let them know I am coming they might be open maybe not, it's really hit or miss. I live a very long way away so I cant always know an exact time that I will be there. This sure makes going there just to browse rather difficult. Anyone else in the same situation?

Hi, I try so so hard not to do this, but only b/c 2 of ours had the exact same issue, have you had the (older) little one checked for allergies? 2 clues, he sounds a bit hyper nasal, but also it looks like he has allergy shiners. I fully recognize this is only a small part of one day, but as a fellow mom who dealt with this, I thought I would mention it. I literally dose out liquid allergy med for my husband & I, and down the line to even the two year old, every single day, so no one’s stuffy lol.

    Qur'an Surah Al-Maeda, Verse 44:
Verily, We did send down the Taurat (Torah) [to Musa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah's Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Taurat (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah's Laws).

    (1)Qur'an Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 113:
The Jews said that the Christians follow nothing (i.e. are not on the right religion); and the Christians said that the Jews follow nothing (i.e. are not on the right religion); though they both recite the Scripture. Like unto their word, said (the pagans) who know not. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they have been differing.
    (2) Qur'an Surah Al-Maeda, Verse 18:
And (both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are the children of Allah and His loved ones." Say: "Why then does He punish you for your sins?" Nay, you are but human beings, of those He has created, He forgives whom He wills and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and to Him is the return (of all).
