- Family summer morning routine. Going to be getting a lot done today as I am usually working full time in the summer. Ill be taking advantage of these few days off and being productive. Will be getting the kids ready in the morning, doing our regular morning routine, giving them breakfast, taking them to summer camp , tidying up the house and squeezing in a little selfcare as well. Hope you enjoy this summer day in my life. Now lets get prepping!

Hi Sonya! Great video as always. The background music is so relaxing, I think I need to download this track and play it while I'm getting my kids ready for summer camp 👍 I'm a mom of six with one more on the way PG and I wish my mornings looked more like this 🤦🏽♀️ my kids are pretty independent thank God but very slow to get things done and it's so hard for me to find time for myself. I think I will start saving my coffee ritual for when I come home from carpool so that I can enjoy it the way that you clearly enjoyed your delicious looking coffee. I usually just take one to go and drink it in the car as I'm dropping them off but I barely even notice that I'm drinking. Thank you for all the inspiration and good feels. may you and your kids be blessed and always have peace in your home 🙌
I am not of the Jewish faith but I absolutely LOVE your videos! Your thoughtful preparations and care you give your family are great suggestions to all. Could you please give ideas where/how you find the lovely serving dishes you use for your meals. You have a great selection of them. Also, is it challenging/difficult to use one set of dishes for "meat" meals and another set of dishes for "milk" meals. I'm interested in learning how you organize and are thoughtful on how to organize this. Thank you again for your inspiring videos! It's so great to learn your organizational/planning skills to bring all the love and care to your family. 😍
Hi Susan, Most of my serving plates are from Marshalls, Burlington and Homegoods.
Having 2 separate sets of dishes is second nature at this point and I dont even think of it as difficult.

When you said that (the kids) having sweet tea with breakfast was a cultural thing, are you referring to being Jewish or your ethnic background? I’m just curious. I am Bukharian and we grew up with sweet tea.

Your new home is so lovely Sonya. And yes, please share your laundry hack with us. We drink a lot of sweet tea in the south but ours is iced.:) As a child, my mother would put a bit of coffee in our morning milk. She served it in a coffee cup so we thought we were drinking coffee. No wonder I still love a good cup of coffee.

I am not of the Jewish faith but grew up with it surrounding my life. When I saw you saying your morning prayer a peace came over me. I too say the prayers and creed of my faith in the morning. Summer routines always feel lighter. It always seems to have less dirt and heavy cleaning to be done. Maybe just the longer brighter days make it feel that way.

I am not a fan of coffee (I wish I was because it smells so good), but if I had my coffee the way you made it, I am pretty sure I will like it! ☺ I am a tea person - chai prefferably (heavy on the spices).
That is a high boss coffee and it should be consumed when you are alone and the place is very quiet. ❤

Who doesn't like waffles? I make a big batch ahead of time and freeze in portions. That way I can put in ingredients that are healthy. So many different ones you can make ahead. Nice to serve with raspberries, strawberries and blueberries on top with honey, cream cheese or yogurt.
Hi, love your videos . Reminds me of a time when my kids were little and all the routine . Just a little tip , when I used to make waffles for my kids , just put them in regular toaster . They pop up nice and crisp . 👍
