  • During the spring semester of 2019, I took an honors calculus-based physics class. Part of the curriculum was to do my own physics project. I saw several acoustic levitators online and decided I wanted to replicate one. I received a grant from Penn State University to build my very own acoustic levitator.
More information on the acoustic levitator I built can be found on my website: www.jmginnovations.com/single...
I got the original design from www.instructables.com/id/Acou...

I would watch a long video of you narrating and explaining everything. there is so much stuff going on that goes over my head. just a thought.

Thats insane! Ive seen these before but never considered makin one on my own. What Arduino did you use for it? Im curious if this could be used to successfully create sonoluminescence. This'll have to be a future build for me soon. Wish you would've done a more in depth video to explain the whole build.

This was such a fun project! I used an arduino nano for the micro controller. I also used an ATTINY85 to control the neopixles. I’ll try to put up a better video soon!

You should try to make this on a bigger scale. So that it can hold objects 10 to 30 lbs. Then, keep making it stronger. You could be on to something much bigger.

Great video, the lights are quite genius but it would be better to make it dimmer and with a light diffuser.
so I made this thing and it is not working, I didn't check the polarity of the transducers because I don't have a oscilloscope, could it be the cause of this issue, did you come across any difficulty.
Would appreciate it if you could help me
