I've run these tires for about two years. The holes in the blocks are for studding the tires. Making them usable on slippery road surfaces. The ejectors work really good they don't pick up many rocks in the thread. It's hard to beat these tires for the price.

Great review! Thanks for doing this on a tire that in my opinion doesn't get enough respect! I'm looking very seriously at these for my 4Runner as well! The scenery REALLY makes me miss living out in the Pacific NW (WA/MT)!

Great video! How many miles did you end up getting out of these? Did they stay good in the rain and smooth on highway until the end? Im thinking of getting a set of these for a daily driver/off road tire that has a decently aggressive look to it.

I traded in the 4Runner with about 40k miles on the tires and they still had about half the tread and were still awesome. No noise, no loss of performance. Now running them on My Tundra and have hit 10k miles and still look new.

do you get any highway vibration in the steering wheel at 60mph?

It's odd, but I did when the tires were first installed. By the time I had a day off to get them re-balanced, it was gone.

We know what siping is on our tires in the South, ding-dong...
