Thank you for a great video. Good side by side comparisons. I have a set of Copper STT Pro, also a set of Cooper At3 XLT. Both in 33s. I use them both on my Bronco with lunchbox locker in the rear, LS in the front. I have a friend who ran on BFG's. Once he saw the performance of the Coopers, he switched to Cooper. The STTs are an awesome floatation tire. Aired down to 15psi the STTs smothers rock and terrain they roll over. Every tire loads up in mud, but it's what happens to the mud once it's in the tread that makes a good mud tire. I find spinning the tires will clear the mud best, unless you're in Georgian red clay. this was a really specific matchup... I actually own both tires in a size 35 by 12.5 and also think they both preform similarly but the coopers are just a bit better and i think they look better. I live in california so it’s very dry out here and it’s mostly desert, they preform well. cooper has really tough sidewall in addition to the aggressive side tread, really good for all the sharp rocks on the trails out here. km3 is good too but i think it’s over rated. thanks for making this video!

I'm on KM3 and looking for Cooper in the upcoming set. After saw your video, I might consider to go back to Yokohama G003 which I think it much more capable in off road than KM3. However, KM3 is better on highway anyway.

good test. a proper well thought out review. I have owned both. BF muds are a little less noisy on road but are £65 a tyre more .

Bom comparativo. Visto os Cooper serem melhores em estrada, gostaria de ver se em estrada ficam perto, ou muito atrás dos BF AT.

Excelente comparativo, muito esclarecedor. Gostaria de saber a vossa opiniao dos BFG KM3 x BFG KO2.
Olá, são completamente diferentes, os KO2 são muito mais leves e fracos em termos de parede e resistência a rasgões e entrada de paus. Os KO2 não tem nada a ver na lama também, sem saber para que são não posso ajudar muito mais, se for para ir ao supermercado os KO2 são fixes, para TT e paz de espírito uns MUD para mim, atenção é a minha opinião, são obrigatórios.
@@asviagens Tenho usado mud, bfg e cooper. A questão é que tenho um carro diferente, com jante 18 e 265/60, pouca altura de borracha. Em princípio será Marrocos, trilhos pedregosos e areia. O meu receio é que os km3 sejam demasiado rígidos para essa pouca altura de borracha, na areia.

Em termos de qualidade-preço quais recomendam, os cooper? A única questão que me ficou é a durabilidade quais os mais duráveis? Têm noção dos kms +/-?

Sim, agora usamos cooper em todos os carros, temos os dois terranos com cooper STT Pro e um GR, a durabilidade parace-me igual, mas para mim a segurança que sinto em alcatrão molhado não tem preço, ainda por cima mais baratos os cooper

Por acaso temos aqui uns toyo agora num carro dum amigo, à espera da chuva para testar os dois ;)
Bom teste mas, falta testar em Areia, Gelo, Neve fofa e Pedra xisto vs granito. E no final ver a durabilidade e estado dos pneus. São só mais 5 motivos para ir passear os jipes. Heheh. Há e no final fazer o comparativo do estado dos pneus vs kilometros percorridos. Continuem o bom trabalho.
Eheheh, queres é passear, nós temos mais de 40.000km feitos com ambos, estes testes são para ter algo para mostrar, nesses km já testámos ambos nesses cenários todos, na pontuação final e conclusão a opinião é desses km. Nos km3 da viagem dos balkans com 45.000km têm cerca de 6mm de piso
Undoubtedly, they two are both very good off-road tire.But stt pro is cheaper . So I think stt pro is a better choice for me.

Eles são parecidos, para mim os Km3 ficam "escamados"/"com degraus" mais depressa e daí depois vem mais ruído

Son 2 neumáticos muy similares en todo, un poco más de agarre en las Cooper de nuevas, pues duran bastante menos que las Bf.

boas amigo ARNALDO ja agora so uma pergunta se for possivel entao eu tenho montados na minha hilux de 1994 uns cooper stt pro na medida 33x12.-5 x 15 mas faco 90 por cento asfalto tem ideia de quantos k m fazem mais ou menos os pneus amigo obrigado
oi, se andas sempre tranquilo sem grandes pressas podes contar com muuuitos km's, ha quem tenha feito 90.000km com uns ST maxx que são a mesma borracha e tacos mais baixos.

Em termos de ruído na estrada são barulhentos?
São mud, fazem os dois um bocadinho
Eu no meu carro não os oiço, mas depende de muitas coisas, se tens o escape de origem ou se te falta uma panela e esconde mais barulhinhos

Aqui no Brasil são pneus de autódromo, infelizmente só estética e bonitos.
The km3s are the best mud tires I've ever owned. No noise,no walking,excellent traction in all conditions. I have over 57000 miles on mine. Ive experienced zero drawbacks to this tire. I worked at Cooper tire for 2 years in the mixing depth. Total crap tires made by out of date machines by employees that don't mix compounds to spec. Everyone at plant I was at was on some farm of drugs or pills. Total crap company
I've also worked at Cooper. Was young before I gave a shit. Got paid piece rate and got the worst jobs because union's are a fucking racket.
Anyway, I would knowing produced sub-par product fast as possible in order to get paid. Nothing ever got rejected. Maybe they've changed..I sure have, but I wouldn't buy their products.
O TT é também sobre a sustentabilidade e limpeza de trilhos... Ver lixo e deixá-lo no mesmo sitio, não é aconselhável.

Thanks for the clarification - other sources indicate km2s had white letters on the sidewalls, while km3s don’t, so it looked like km2s were on your vehicle. Appreciate the reply!

Decent test. Turn the music off, that would normally earn a thumbs down- but the video was well done. Pick up the the trash left by others don’t just throw it back on the ground.
Ni con el mejor neumático puedes pasar por hay,sin bloqueos no puedes ir despacio...es por eso que rompen tanto los coches por pasar obstáculos con inercia por falta de bloqueos...
Tal cual, esos coches si tienen LSD trasero en buen estado avanzaría más ya q en ningún momento descolgaron rueda, y si le pones bloqueo delantero con el LSD flipas yo lo tengo el patról asi

This is not a fair test and it is very evident that you like the STT more than KM3, in other videos you have literally said this. Everyone with a little bit of experience in 4x4 knows that the first car will always have a better grip than the second, because you are making the trail more slippery once you pass it. I don't want to pick tires, but this test should not be considered when you pick tires. Not to talk about justifying the better performance of the KM3 in mud with the rack which weighs like 20 kilos or something which is insignificant to the test.
This test is for entreteinment, my opinion came from 40.000km with each tire
Then maybe start the video with this. With tires there will always be preferences based on experience or bias, regardless someone might buy a tire based on something like this. I personally have never seen a mud tire perform well on wet tarmac.
@@igp4605 you should test my new Cooper st maxx on wet tarmac and you Will be amazed, I dare you to try to follow st maxx with AT from bf on a raining mountain road
I don't have experience with Cooper, but to be honest when I change tires I will go for Maxxis Razr MT or even Trepador, thanks for the suggestion though, I am sure it is a good tire since you are driving a lot

@@asviagens Well i understand but that was still a bad comparison. You didn't make it down your trails! Like I said before I've seen all terrain tires do better than your mud terrain comparison.. the trail where both trucks got snagged on a root! That wasn't the tires fault for not making it just letting you know! The driver shows how well the tires can be beaten on the trail not the other way around. I like cooper tires and bf goodrich but it still comes down to the drivers abilities with the chosen off road tire. Thank you for you videos. Just giving ideas for your next video comparisons..
@@johnathonsensing8162 You've seen ATs on those exact trails, no you haven't so just stop. He wasn't testing drivers or the laws of motion he was testing tires only. This test shows there is fuck all difference in mud traction performance between these two tires. You could choose either and be happy with your choice as it relates to mud performance.
