As a kid i was terrible at building and running an economy (i just put 5 villagers in each resource because it looked tidy and i liked the number) so i actually loved the Siege of Paris since i was given a big army to fight my way through without a base to manage! Those were the times ^^
Why should you use population on villagers? If you make 1 army unit instead of 2 villagers you can actually do something useful, like fighting! Also, I need to get food to age up. Why waste food to build villager instead of stockpiling it?

9:40 resourse cheat codes are useful after liberating some villagers, I always destroy paris to reconstruct it to the last block of wall, my only concern was "should I destroy the trade workshop or not" because it is irreplaceable.
The first La Hire sounded fine to me... then he played the original. The original voice actor put way more oomph into his line delivery, maybe a bit of a caricature, but in the age of Nolan North voicing half of the video game characters in the world, some uniqueness is greatly appreciated.
I can't play DE now but from what I've seen, voice acting is in general better in the original. In DE it's not bad but as you said, compared to the original it's pretty much uncharacteristic

As a child the campaign was really hard for me I couldn't even complete the first joan of arc mission without cheats I did make it up to my past self by completing the entire campaign on the HD version on Steam.
in the siege of paris ihappened to notice the other day that joan does not need to reach the end i had my vils jump through the wall using one of the keeps and instantly won when they got to the plaza

There's a very good reason I use the Original Campaigns mod whilst playing the Definitive Edition. It's because said mod fixes the voice acting problems.
The resource cheat codes can actually be used on the siege of Paris. The refugees are villagers so when you rescue them the resource cheat codes let you create buildings. Edit: nevermind I was thinking of age of conquers.
Plot twist: This guy was one of the developers in charge of the campaigns so he designed it to be beaten without killing the enemy, but he kept the secret all those years so he could one day come up with this video and be famous... I'm kidding 11, what an effort dude, amazing
You know what....i have an experienced as a kid on this arc,i dont remember it clearly which direction i took that time but one thing for sure..my troop are eliminated and only joan left,somehow manage to get to the enemy gate and destroy it using joan alone which deals damage around 2~4 per hit im literally watching her attacking the gate all day long until its destroyed and procceed to the church or whatever that building on the other side of the map is

Honestly using petards is a much easier way to destroy buildings without any casualties. You can keep your castle away from your TC to avoid it firing at enemy units, then just keep spamming petards to win
Petards can be useful, but for much of Joan's campaign you are in the Castle Age or don't have a Castle to produce them, so they aren't too useful here. I guess it's fitting though, since Petards didn't get introduced until AoC (AoK did have the Saboteurs in Genghis 6, but those are very different).
For #2, I know another way to do it pacifist: Use the troops you get at Blois to knock down a South English castle, skipping Orleans altogether. I was only able to do this on Standard, as I think the South English have more upgrades on Moderate and Hard.
Man the final one caused me so much more rage in DE than AoC, and funnily enough siege of paris felt much easier. I literally had the flag cart die just outside the square using the destroy orange strat to make red not agro.
My only complaint is how you pronounced the Loire at the end. Given that it's French, "oi" makes a kind of W sound. It would be pronounced similar to the French word for black, noire. But if that doesn't help, it'd be something kinda like luh-wah-er

It has certain rules and objectives which must be followed in order to win the campaign level, scoring Empire Points depending on difficulty. Siege of Paris looks pretty brutal though. I like Tei's strat of just taking out the house instead of chopping all that wood. I'll have to see how well any of this works on current patch too.

I think the 100 Wood starts are intentional from the game devs (DE) to make speed runs possible (ignoring Burgundy in the middle and the rest of the cr*p around it). I think.
btw u can just chop down a tree and build a farm over it. That destroys the entire tree. You can then just not start sowing the farm and cancel it. much faster to get rid of trees this way

I want to add that there is nothing inherently wrong with spamming knights upon the English but I believe I like this approach more.

Pretty stupid that the AI is designed like that to just lock down and chase down a unit forever, especially for an Hard AI.

In the Siege of Paris, all buildings are disabled, so the Villagers can't build Farms or Palisade Walls to delete trees.
