Watched this video to check a Chanter Tank build after playing mine for about 20 hours only to find that this build has almost the same race and stats I made for my first character! :) I went with 7 Dex and one higher Int, so basically the same, and I picked the Dull the Edge, Blunt the Point as the 2nd phrase on character creation, but the concentration debuff from Thick Grew... is great too. As the first Invocation though, I think the phantom is the better pick. Skeletons can be sort of CC because there's 3 of them, but they die too quickly, while the phantom helps the party for a good while, either tanking, picking off enemies that get past you to the back row or as flanking stunning dps. For those considering this build: I can happily recommend it. Great support character and tank with minimal micro-management (only have to pick targets and throw occasional Invocations). With a chanter tank you can focus on controlling the wizards, ciphers and other heavy-micro classes in your party. Good job on this build and nice growing selection of guide/tutorial videos for PE - thanks and keep it up!
This was pretty much the first character I wanted to play as after watching some of Quill's coverage. The thought of playing a really tanky, necromantic skald type character is just plain fucking awesome. Necrochanter, fuck aye. Also looking forward to a paladin video if you plan to make one. This is one of the first games where it's actually a class that interests me, since the different orders offer fairly different themes from the usual religious zealot. Great videos so far, cheers dude!
Hey, do you do any mid to late game level guides, cause i started as a wizard for this game and i want to start again as i feel i done everything wrong, like not only character wise but party wise etc etc
Thx for the videos men ! , i was wondering if you can keep the two summons up at the same time (i know you cant use eskeletons two times but .. eskeletons and espectre or the worms) .
PERS is different than yours...I copied your exact build and was wondering why I was getting hit so much... PERS removed the Deflection and replaced it with Accuracy.

Awesome man, this is exactly the kind of character I want to play as. Thanks for making this, I appreciate it.
So for the chanter there is no dance animation nor singing ? He just stands there and little wosh sounds tell when the chant is done ?

I think your summons disappear once you do a new summon right? Why have both phantoms and skeletons?

If i decided to make a ranged support chanter, what attributes do you think i could put points on? Thanks.
