    Seats 6 people comfortably.
    Heated seats for the girlfriends. Cooled seats for the dudes. Ejection seat for the mother in-law. And V8 engine with dual exhaust for the getaway.
    Great review of a great car.

    Such a beautiful car, I've always loved the last-Gen 00-05 DeVille.

      My bad, the last-gen DeVille was the 2006-11 DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan), also a very beautiful ride.

    I have a 2005 Deville - love it. Mine has the Cadillac wreath and crest hood ornament instead of it being in the grille. Hey everybody - these Caddies in excellent condition are going for around $4-6K - no better buy to be had.

    2000-2005 Cadillac Deville in beige exterior and beige interior with wood trimming is the best model Cadillac has ever made. They must bring it back

    I have the same car except in light cashmere/ gold with the Livery package like this one here. This was the last year for the Deville nameplate before going to the DTS. This was my first car and I remember growing up wanting one of these devilles so badly. Ever since they came out in 2000, I always wanted one. Now I do and I'm a happy customer. Beautiful car. Just keep up on maintenance and you will be fine!!

      Andrew Genus the Cadillac DeVille has always been known for being built like a Versace tank. And that held through all the way through the last generations of the Ville, the 2000 and 2005 model included. The safety ratings from IIHS and NHTSA were darn good as well.

    Nobody likes the northstar cause there known for head gasket failure and bolt holes in the block can seperate causing coolant to enter the cylinders. This happend to my caddy at 102,000 miles when the previous owner had it. He took it to the cadillac dealership to get it fixed and costed him 4500 hundred dollars. It now has 123,000 miles and runs strong with no problems.

    these are really nice cars, but no one seems to like them, and they depreciate faster than any car ive ever seen. at auction these things are lucky to fetch 3 stacks. sometimes dont even go for that much.

    • @gcode1995
      @gcode1995 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      8 years later, but as an 05 DeVille owner. I can tell you it’s because of the bad taste the 4.6L northstar left from the late 90s through 01. After 01 they fixed the head bolt issues and they are much more reliable. If you don’t mind getting a little creative when working on them, they are very easy to maintain

    Beautiful car
    Are these cars pretty trouble free or are they difficult ? How has this car done ?

    • @starxlr7863
      @starxlr7863 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      mrkongsimr For the most part they are trouble free. Originally when Cadillac designed this engine was for it to be very reliable and low maintenance. I have this exact car and all I have had to do was buy a new set of ACdelco sparkplugs and regular 3000 mile oil changes. Make sure to use Dexcool and DO Not Mix coolants! Trans flush every 50,000 would be very good to do as well especially if you do more city driving. Hope this helps......

    you couldnt pay me to own a northstar. GM fucked cadillac in the ass after 1993...their designs became awful and reliability plummeted down the drain. couldnt leave good enough alone and keep the good ol reliable 4.9 PFI V8 under the hood.
