Optical Zoom is better than higher resolution. Higher resolution giver worse nightvision if you do not increase the size of the image sensor. Its a compromise in this price point I guess.
100MBit connection. It is pretty terrible. The lag and choppiness of the video during tracking or moving the camera is absolutely awful. I honestly am not sure what the heck they were thinking for a $300 camera that requires a great connection for PTZ functions.
