    Jay-Z dissed Ma$e on Imaginary Player, then Ma$e dissed Jay-Z on 112's Love Me, then Jay-Z really got at Ma$e on Ride Or Die. Apparently Ma$e had a response track to it but no one on Bad Boy was behind Ma$e in his beef with Jay-Z, that's why he never released his diss track. As even Stevie J who was a major in-house producer/song-writer for Bad Boy, says in the beginning of Jay-Z's Ride Or Die song "I'm rollin' wit Roc-A-Fella, man....cause they got money, man, a heh"

The only thing that I was saying is likely not true is WHY Stevie said I'm rolling with Rocafella. This isn't new this is already confirmed by Mase's childhood friend Meeno a few years ago. This isn't the only disses that the two made towards each other. Jay-Z made Ride Or Die on Vol 2 which disses Mase hard on the first verse and then Mase retaliated with the original 1999 version of I'm No Killa then there's another new version of that track appeared on Bad Boy Records' 10th anniversary compilation album in 2004 then Meeno who was in Mase's Harlem World group began to diss Jay on the 2000 song I'm That N***a from the Lennox mixtape which led Jay to respond again with the remix of Memphis Bleek's My Mind Right (Remix) where he destroys Meeno. Memphis Bleek's original track is a Nas diss during the Jay-Z beef. But I'm just stating what I already know about this beef. This beef did start over a dumb reason. Over a white girl from a skit, you have got to be kidding me but both did went at each other hard. This beef rarely gets talk about because unsurprisingly the Nas beef overshadowed the other beefs Jay had even the Kiss and Sigel beef was overshadowed by the Nas beef and Jay caused that Sigel beef. I think Mase is super underappreciated and I mostly blame Diddy. He is a talented rapper don't believe me listen to his classic debut or his diss tracks towards Cam'ron and Diddy. He is a legend in my eyes.

    • @camronshean1758
      @camronshean1758 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm No Killa isn't a diss. Ma$e didn't respond back to Jay-Z after Ride Or Die. Also Meeno didn't diss Jay-Z on the song I'm That Nigga, Meeno dissed Jay-Z on his song Throw Ya Gunz Up, which uses the beat from Jay-Z's song Do It Again [Put Ya Hands Up], it's on the Dj Kay Slay & Dazon Streetsweepers Pt.10 Original Gangsters mixtape. In his Mrecktv interview where he said Jay-Z's song Imaginary Player is a Ma$e diss, Meeno also confirmed that he isn't dissing Jay-Z on I'm That Nigga but that the actual Jay-Z diss track is Throw Ya Gunz Up
