I have exactly the same one. I'm using it in the city, as its very torquay and easy to ride in the traffic. I really love the colour scheme and I fell in love with it when I first saw it ❤😅😅
i was only able to get like 155 miles on mine... got the 2023 in white also... hope i can get a few more days this year or early next year.. want to do the 600mile inspection before may, since i plan on touring a bit. It's s sh*t ton of fun Oh yeah, quickshifter: look into the manual, it kinda tells you when suzuki designed it to shift. keeping it between 3000-5000 rpm and upshifting should be smooth with gas half open.
Got to be ready for anything. Especially building evasive riding skills. Swerving, max braking, things of that nature. Just like riding a car, you can mash the brake and find out what the limits are, you should know what the limits of a motorcycle are. It's a freak event for someone to cross into your lane and hit you, that is pretty rare considering all the commuting and travel every day. Most things can be avoided with confident riding skills, attention, and WARM TIRES.
@@nicholas1116 they’re NBT pants which you can get on sale rn… they aren’t as good as leathers but I went down at 50mph and my lower half was completely fine other than some bruising.
Anyone else agree with him about less power over mph?. Doesn’t seem right to me. However I am still in the initial breaking mileage period around 400 on The odometer. I accidentally went 120 when passing some people on the highway so I’m trying do understand his perspective. I have not yet on purpose been riding in the higher rev ranges.
@AmbassadorZGtavity Yes, it's true, the torque over 5000 rpm drops. The acceleration is smooth over 60-70 miles. It's not like the ninja 1000sx where life begins above 6000 rpm. The 8S, personally, I believe it's a city bike. That's why it has impressive torque at low rpms
2 wheel dyno works videos will show you how to get 93 hp to the wheel (plenty of top end). That's up from a factory 76 hp. You don't need a different bike.
