Replay of Joe Justice's MeetUp @Reacteev, Paris, France. Recorded Live, November 7 2023. Thank you so much to @reacteev , you can see their latest news here: reacteev.com/en/news/podcasts/
Being in late senior engineering state, having worked within automation/production all my current life, its SO unbelievable game changing i almost cannot grasp it:). So extremely wonderfully to live to see this change, like from horses to automated remote drones in few years, jeeezzzz. Thanks Mr. musk, and thank you Joe for sharing, SO MUCH appreciated!
I get the impression that when the camera pans to the audience it's because they all seem to be thinking "holy crap, we're all so screwed". Brilliant presentation from Joe as always. Maybe if wall street was to understand what is happening 😮
amazing.. all executives in all companies should watch this video at least every week and ask themselves if they are doing enough for their company and their investors
I worked for a financial services company where we tried to use agile practices following many years of working with lean and some six sigma. I would suggest that 99% of current management is too brainwashed by waterfall processes to be able to pivot. Look at the average age of employees at Musk companies. I'd bet it's in the mid to upper 20s, rather than 50s. It's very difficult to teach old dogs new tricks.
Tesla is already the world’s most valuable company. Insights like this help us understand why. It just hasn’t landed with the WSJ yet. Thanks Joe, keep it coming 🙏
A lovely talk, Joe. I like the personal anecdotes. Together with the camera work, this gives a feeling of "being in the room". It feels up close and personal.
Hi Joe, good talk, I really enjoyed it. I worked supporting multiple Automotive and Aerospace Manufacturers in Ontario Canada, both at the OEM level and also (Automotive) Tier 1 & 2 suppliers, I'm really proud of my resume, was very "hands-on" and feel that I am able to understand the concepts that you shared. So while having a reasonable grasp of the ideas that you outlined in your talk, I am hungry for much more granular details. I (and I suspect many others) would really like to soak up deeper dives into the Tesla/SpaceX manufacturing magnum opus, and I'm happy that I found your own personal TH-cam channel, please keep feeding the beast, and the more deeply you can get into this stuff, the happier I will be.
I am so glad to have joined this video and watching you present and I am inspired and appreciative of all the work you’ve done with the most creative companies on the planet. I thank you for your work and for your brilliance Joe!!!❤
49:54 "When you're improving this fast, something you made even 1 month ago is embarrassing compared to what you can make now..." . (But "the competition is coming!" 😉)
Cheers to your presentation Joe. I have been following several of your appearances on social media. You are getting better each time getting the message across what revolutionary approaches Elon Musk’s companies are using to constantly evolve generating value for the customer and for the company at a breath taking speed. Elon Musk has figured how to truly get everyone of the people employed in a constant state of flow making them focus on permanent small steps and forgetting the rest of the world while doing so. The presentation you did at this opportunity could give the audience a good glimpse of this paradigmatic shift of organizing a company. The camera could show the audience being stunned what awesome and effective way this is to peruse your corporations mission. Hope you continue with this openness of sharing these profound insights so others are inspired to follow this path of progress for humanity.
Holy fucking shit. I knew tesla and spacex were years ahead of the competition, maybe even decades, but this is far bigger a gap than I ever could have imagined. Glad I bought tesla stock😅
I didn’t really have any hope for Toyota but maybe if they listen to you they may have a chance to survive.. we will see if they can change their culture
really love your stuff joe. gotta point out your comment re the hvac system and seats. the rear seats have an electric resistance mat to heat them. the front seats in s,highland 3 and x(and asume semi) have a peltier device to provide chilled air to seat seatback and squab and then resistance mat for seat heating. Also, it is simply not feasible to make a heat pump or octo valve for pennies, very few dollars certainly. again really love what you do and hearing about it. thank ~ Roger
Man I love your stuff! Great presentation as always, so inspiring and thought-provoking, very well done! Thanks a lot for sharing! Just a little hint, I think I spotted a small typo at minute 41, on the slide „The goal is for 100% of staff to be engineers..“. I think the „u“ and „e“ in „Neuralink“ swapped places! :)
WOW, this is the most kind way I have been alerted to one of my many mistakes! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I think I corrected it on the source material. I do that one all the time, "ue" instead of "eu"!
Ha ha! @@JoeJustice0 I don't think you'll need to now: @dillonloomis22 just excerpted it on #Electrified today! (I'm so grateful for both of you, and what you do!)
I know. This is a knew enlightenment, it truly is. This way of continuous creation/building, reenforced with AI will bring an age of abundance (if we don't let someone screw it up). It's late in my career, I've always resisted the push to go into "management", stayed technical. But I SO want to become a part of one of these mobs!
This video may be one of the most profound video's ever giving us a peek into the profound future Tesla (and other Musk ventures) are creating right now. It's interesting that the timing of me seeing this video coincides with my wife and I driving 700 miles rt to the nearest delivery center to take delivery of another MY. Two thoughts: 1) The Tesla delivery center is like a museum of the future with displays of the Cybertruck, M3 Highland, the Bot, a MY heat pump from 4 years ago compared with current design iteration...it's dazzling. 2) The hundreds of improvements of the MY over a period of just 12 months is equally dazzling. It's noticeable. If Tesla continues to iterate and advance as furiously as Joe indicates is possible, I'm not sure how Tesla could fail to own a big chunk of the energy/transportation/AGI/Bot world.
Hey Joe, you still not talking to anybody that hasn’t been vaccinated? Congratulations you did your parts to help spread myocarditis and misinformation!
Thanks to Dylan Loomis from Electrified to suggest this wonderful talk.
Same... this is a fascinating talk and I'm surprised I hadn't ended up following Joe's channel till @electrified mentioned it today.
me too
Dillon sent me too. Good stuff, thanks. 👍
Thanks Dylan
As a Tesla nerd this is one of the best video of Tesla I have ever seen! And i have consumed Tesla every day for 4 years now.
100%. This makes me incredibly bullish

Cheers Joe, please keep posting vids. Your can do vibe is most appreciated. Multiple thumbs up.
JJ has amazing clarity of thought and expression, and his insights about TSLA Process are brilliant😯
I thought the Musk companies were good, but these insights from the video make them awesome. Nice one Joe👍👍

The camera team was unreal in their commitment to their art.
This is possibly the most profound video I've ever watched.

if i remember correctly: he talked about it before, that he still is under nda and is only able to share what was made somewhat public before.
Great Presentation

I'm totally convinced that Tesla is the driving force for planetary advancement & improvement bar none!

It's going to be "interesting" watching Toyota (and probably certain elements of media") promote the system as "theirs" (?)

Thanks!
I'm from a small town in Indiana waiting on my CT VIN ..now I want to pick your brain haha
This is great stuff.
France is all about inefficiency, Unions.
c'est la vie 🤷🏼♀️
If a Wall St analyst watched this (and understood it), Tesla Stock would beat starship to Mars!

I didn't post it anywhere. Just published it here. Maybe I should post it somewhere or something. Or actually promote it... hmm...

We will do the entire 12 step course together April 22 in Paris. Other dates here: en.abi-agile.com/lp/joedx/
Looks good.
It should be interesting to see what happens to Toyota when Toyota has no intention of using Tesla's mission statement.
IT systems methodolgy applied to manufacturing
when Tesla implements all new tech like 48v, steer by wire etc of Cybertruck in rest of the Tesla vehicles-all hell lose!!!
Where is the like button?? Looks like YT is running some tests again. :/
Doesn't pass the sniff test
It gets repetitive if one watches all of these - but still greeat! 😉
Toyota's agility to develop Hydrogen is the future. /s
