Just installed mine on my 2017 ST, fitment is great and everything went well. This video is a great step by step guide and I used it for the whole install. Whole thing took me and one helper for the throttle body hose (2 people was easier but 1 person is doable) about 2.5-3 hours.
Barbed fittings have orings, teflon tape is unnecessary and shouldn't be used unless it's a tapered thread, Infact your possible keeping it from sealing properly.
Nick I have a question about the catch can bracket( the one that holds the catch can) Did you have to do something so the holes line up. Because mine are not lining up and I don’t want to cross thread the screws.
I bought an ebay knock off, put a aluminum wall to segregate in and out inside the catch can. I also put steel mesh scrubbies as additional air filter inside the catch can. You really dont need to spend $200 on these cans, they are very simple design, and all you are paying for is a clean bracket to mount on. I spend $32 on ebay for my Mishimoto knockoff can, and look forward to installing it. I also installed a DRAIN valve on bottom - that way i dont have to unscrew the can to clean it. This is also great time to clean the valves - we have direct injection on ST's/RS's that them bitches get caked FAST without a can.
If I understand correctly, the outlet is baffled? Have purchased a catch can myself and it doesn't say which port is inlet and outlet, only difference is the baffle.
Just a quick question if you see this. I know this video is from a while ago, but how was ADD W1’s customer service? I’m on the brink of getting stage 1 and 2 cans from them, but I’ve heard some things about their service being off.
maybe, the bracket won’t fit but most catch cans work the same way with the inlet and outlet. there’s universal catch cans too but the bracket for this is focus st specific

Mishimoto makes a trany mount one just good for compatability due to it being easy access during oil changes. But this one is also a good choice
Thanks for the teaching

I’m gonna give it a shot. Have one on the way.
I just wanna know how you got a screwdriver on the clamp to take the intake manifold off ma brother 🤣
Ong 💀
Was the Amazon catch can not good? Great video. I watched them both
My question is why isn't this stuff installed as standard from manufacturers?
This is a PCV Can right not a CCV? I’m trying to understand that I just need the PCV catch can right?
yeah this is pcv. you don’t need a ccv side, i’ve never emptied mine over 10k miles and it hardly has anything in it
Thanks so much for getting back to me! Also love the videos keep up the good work!

Literally has nothing to do with LSPI you are correct on the knock (detonation) but they are completely different things
Do I need new intake gaskets?
What oil dipstick are you using? I like the red color.
Painted stock one

Yes the outlet would be more important to be baffled. This one is baffled on both sides though

they always responded to me fast and the parts arrived fast to they seem good to me. the parts were great quality too
stage 1 or stage 2? did you get a tune?
Why did you change it from the cheap one? Is it just because of the brand or is the W1 better?
this is better because it’s baffled and just high quality over all
Will this work on a Volvo s40 T5?

Do you still have it? And how is it doing after 1 year?
