Nice review. I have PSA 9mm with KAK break. I think it recoils more than my AR in 5.56 with JM break. I put a hydraulic AR10 buffer and JP buffer spring in it. That helped smooth it out and dampen some recoil but I think still a bit more than AR. Granted I'm comparing an AR with a JM break vs 9mm with KAK can. I think the lower mass bolt from CMMG is the way to go if follow up shots are competitively important to you.

Thank you for another great review Sootch, going to have to check one of these out after I sell my FDE CZ Scorpion.. (It was a big disappointment after getting back another new one from CZ with the same problem.. A very loose trigger pack)

Thanks Steve! That's interesting about the Scorpion. I've only had good success with mine. Wonder what's going on. Good luck my friend.

Well Sootch about two and a half months ago now I bought an FDE Scorpion Evo3 from an online seller, got the brand new pistol and noticed every time I pulled the trigger the whole entire trigger housing moved backwards, and then was pulled back forward again by the hammer starting the whole problem over again. I keep mentioning the color FDE because I do believe CZ is having a problem with the FDE color plastic, because we switched out a back trigger housing at my FFL and it was as tight as could be.
Long story short I returned my new pistol to CZ and just about eight weeks latter I received "a new one as a courtesy" with almost the exact same trigger pack movement problem back again, but I have to say the second CZ pistol did have a better more crisper feeling trigger for some reason LOL!
Ya, so my experience is not so great with CZ, I have never in almost thirty five years of firearm ownership had to cut my loses on any gun, but I don't believe from this experience that I'm going to get anywhere with this company.. Which is frankly sad because I'm the type of person to buy multiple firearms from a company if I like their products that they make, and CZ had a good reputation in my book that I had heard from others.

    Thanks Don!
I think if someone added a Wilson Combat trigger setup, that carbine would be perfect.
    I don't like CMMG's mil spec triggers.
