*Notes:*
- In the minimalist run, you're still allowed to use the cannon in chapters 7 and 8, the lava trap in chapter 11 to kill El Gigantes and the turrets in chapter 15. I made to sure to get the challenge done in the run and you can see it trigger in the results screen as proof.
- If you're doing the minimalist challenge (without being restricted to just SG-09 R), I recommend fully investing in the SG-09 R until you get to the castle, then you should invest in the Blacktail and later get the Matilda with the stock. For the Island, you should keep the Blacktail for most encounters and use the Matilda with the stock for Krauser and Saddler.
- Some parts didn't go as intended. One of them was the cabin: some small mistakes at the end of phase 1 led to a chaotic opening of phase 2 and I unintentionally killed 5 enemies triggering the brute so I had to improvise - please check a separate video I recently uploaded with the correct methodology for phase 2. Saddler's fight was a bit sloppy as I missed a few important shots during the Novistadors summoning so I was a bit late to move to the lower platform (luckily it was still fine as he went for the horizontal acid attack). The Bella sisters in chapter 6 also went poorly due to some unfortunate enemy placements and small mistakes. In the village siege, I had an unfortunate opening with too many grabbers pressuring me into the little shack and then I had a lucky parry at 0:05:06 that I happened to get because I was aiming to reorient Leon towards the Ganado for a knife execution.
- I had to take a break at 1:51:10 for about 15 minutes so I edited out the long pause I had in the run.
Unemployment is hard to remedy uh

normally miniamalist runs aren't my thing, but this was solid. so fast and clean, and the gunplay felt alot less..sloggy then the old RE4 Knife only runs seemed to feel to me :D

The Punisher is still decent but it will give you the hardest time compared to all other pistols in my opinion.

It's available normally and in all platforms. It's unlocked by getting S+ rank with all characters in all stages of mercenaries. They added it when the Separate Ways DLC came out.

That would be too annoying to restart on any missed shot when there's bloom and other things with the aiming of this game.
I feel like you need to do another vdeo of your failed attempts from this run. People need to see that you're human after all lol. Great run. The water hall part looked so smooth for you. I've had so many headaches on that last wave of enemies.

What GPU or settings are you using to get stable 60 fps on cutscenes? I use a 3060 12gb and whenever there are two people in a cutscene my game goes into the 50 fps mark when zoomed in on them
I show all my settings at the end.
I had 3060 myself, I think hair strands takes a lot of toll on the GPU. You could also lower mesh quality from max to high and global lighting to medium.
I'm amazed at the damage the SG-09r does - is it better than the sentinel Nine? 😊

Aether, I don't know if you've ever answered this, but what is your favourite handgun/shotgun/rifle/magnum...etc? I'm curious to know what you think!
Handgun: Blacktail / SG-09 R
Shotgun: Riot gun
Rifle: Bolt Action Rifle (when maxed out it almost feels like the OG RE4 with its damage) / Stingray (if no upgrades are to be used)
Magnum: Killer7 in general since the other magnums have terrible bloom, but for Saddler in particular the maxed out Broken Butterfly is more useful.
