Sidenote: I think you need to be careful with your endgame respecting, you have shock effect hard coded and damage hard coded - so any change to ailment effect from gear/tree doesn't change your dps. Ex. you are removing ailments effect from endgame so its actually lowering your damage. You only have 51 shock effect not full 65. You can let POB calculated your shock effect, if you use shaper of storms (no need to input 65). But lets be real, this is just planning stuff so 1-2mil DPS difference isn't that big of deal.

how will you deal defensivewise with early game progression (like start of mapping) because Supression seems kinda hard to get early in League and also Elementalist is kinda a squishy ascendency to start in HC. Thanks for the guide and wish you alle the best for 3.19
determ+grace(dex will be annoying very early) should be enough for early maps, and then just priority on suppression gear. might have to play a bit safe but I think it will be manageable.
There is 39% on the inveterate wheel (5 points away from ghost shroud)+22% on the instinct wheel, if you really want to cap spell suppression easier at the cost of damage nodes, i believe
There's no life leech in the POB, also the arcane surge would take forever to proc at level 7, even at level 1 with all the reduced mana cost a single flame dash won't proc it
still, the only risk is that we don't know how clunky the play style is. before nerf the damage of LC is ridiculous. Even after nerf it still very strong
That's what I'm doing. If I get to 28 with Shaper of Storms/Shock Proliferation and LC feels too slow I'll swap back to Spark. Spark is insane for leveling as long as you're taking some cast speed. You also won't want to go all in on shock from the tree if you're using Spark/Arc for a while. All of that said, as long as you've got some cast speed and can scale the shocks up pretty high with overcharge support LC looks like it's going to be an absolute nuke and should be good for leveling.
I honestly think it's MEGA good for leveling (as long as you are not a highly skilled racer). While you're leveling, using a 2-button build doesn't feel too clunky and with Ele, you have guaranteed shock, which means guaranteed huge damage. It is mapping time that's bad.
Waggle on your Early Endgame pob you have boots with 50% ailment avoidence. Double crafted? How is this possible? If its the eldrich implicit and a craft the values seem way too high
Yeah I think I left those in after checking to see how hard hitting 100% avoidance would be. For actual early endgame it's probably just brine king pantheon for freeze/chill, and a reduced shock flask or ring craft possibly.
Is there something I'm misunderstanding about the way Shaper of Storms interacts with shock effect? PoB calc says you're only getting 27% shock on pinnacle bosses. This is easily gotten around by socketing in overcharge support over onslaught support, but obviously that's not preferred. I've seen this on both yours and lily's pobs now so I'm thinking it's just something I don't see or understand correctly, but I'm not sure.
It's simple enough, damage doesn't matter, shaper of storms gives you guarenteed 15% shock when you hit, So then all you have to do is scale shock effect up from 15%. You will see his POB has 250% increase bringing him to 52.5%, then you need to add on the 25% you get for highest damage lighting, brings you just over 65%. You may not have the last config switched on in POB to show that last part, it's in config 'highest damage type override'... needs to be set to lightning
Yeah PoB is weird about it but, if you have shaper of storms & go to the calc tab on pob for your shock skill, if your total shock effect multiplier is at least like 4.35 you will be at 65 shock
@@Dsfarblarwaggle Do you think updated Ralakesh boots and Malachais loop would work with eldritch implicit gloves? I plan to test it when I get home. Just use a orb of storms on single target. Edit, tried it and it works do with it what you want. The shock is Base 15 on any ascendancy and scalable.
ziz uses EB in his version. Does his build differ much to this one? he's only reaching 4.5m dps compared to your 6m. I got a feeling impulsa is gonna be expensive af this league. Also what do people think about the cost of Divine orbs/Exalts now? a complete table turn?

Yes, overcharge does not synergize with minimum shock effect, only with damage ailment scaling.

You can always go for golems to get some solid regen and phys mitigation early in the league
