@@Onionhorse i don't actually have the game yet, asked for it as a b-day gift so even if i got it for myself i'd be literally denying those close to me the only known B-dayu gift i want. I just liked being able to travel BOTW with wolf link so it is sad to not see that potentially come back
I was pretty sad when I tried it since the wolf was my buddy while I played Breath of the Wild
@@bucarestivamaveche yeah, during the long walks during the opener before you have the stamina to just start going vertical on every surface, wolf link was such a good companion, boy and dog, against the world.

@@cubinelot 100% sure, but I think mostly the underground. Haven’t found one myself yet. Others can be found in side quests.

You can find them in certain chests… just look up a guide

Amiibos are only really required for the paraglider fabrics. The rest can be found somewhere in the game.

If you use the SS amiibo, you technically have 2 master swords. The sword it gives you is the goddess white sword which eventually gets forged into the master sword.
It's only natural to fuse the Sword of the Sky with the Master Sword.
He's a cool tip, you can buy amiibo cards online that scan like actual amiibos if you can't find any actual ones. To get the pack I believe it was around $20 for me
I did this for BoTW. Since I was traveling all the time at that point, I bought the amiibo cards to I could travel with them. Then I bought the loft wing one since the amiibo was rare at one point.

To make this pro tip an hall of famer tip when you go to set your console date set the year back to 2000 so you won't be playing on a date that you might play on in case you set the actual date back and decide to use your amiibos. If you are in a bind randomly one day and need some materials it would suck to see the message that you can't use your amiibos. Go into the past instead of the future with your date change.
I think TOTK Link, Toon Link and Zelda, Wolf Link, and Twilight Zelda are the best ones so far.
Fierce deity early on is a game changer
You can also get the Tunic of Time in the Underground Map area when finding old maps in the sky islands.

The Ancient Sheikah fabric, to me, is by far the best design. I am definitely getting that bin file (if I cannot find the fabric it in the game that is, I still have not started playing TotK)
Fun fact: you don’t need amibo to collect the items any more you can find these items as misko’s treasure now

Some amibo armours tou can fimd without the amiibo. The deity link and awakening link u can find witgout amiibos and more
You can find some of these just by exploring too, I managed to find the Fierce Diety pants while exploring a giant hollow stump. I am kinda bummed wolf link can't be a companion anymore though.

if i have the majoras mask link amiibo and the fierce deity sword breaks can i scan it the next day and get a new one?
and does the tip mean *INGAME* days or normal days
For BOTW when I was trying to get the double helix sword for Link's Fierce Deity outfit I had to try for like 20 or more times. Bear in mind I got the complete fierce deity outfit before hand. I finally got the sword, but it was one of the harder ones to get. I pretty much got everything but a few trousers from some of the Link incarnations, and the Goddess Sword. I've gotten enough Fierce Deity Outfits for just about everyone reading this comment. I always sell my doubles to Beedle, or whomever will buy them that the closest to me at the moment.
Don't freak out when your fabrics disappear, talk to Kochi in the dye shop and you'll see them and be able to select the ones you've unlocked.
Ppl were also using this save/reload exploit, to reroll thing they knew were in certain chests.... like the hylian shield... To get different durabilties on it

This might be, hands down, the quickest way to farm for resources, especially if you're an avid Zelda fan and managed to own every Zelda Amiibo figure in existence.
oh it most definitely is, in botw i would use my probably around 20 or so amiibos back to back and just be completely loaded

Amiibos gives you lots of strong weapons, early game stat changing armor, duplicate armor to sell for cash, etc. It's a casual gamer's dream.
Another thing to note. No idea if this works with other weapons, but the dusk claymore can actually be photographed, unlike the amiibo weapons in BOTW, where they just didn't get a reaction in the viewfinder. Not sure if this means the dusk claymore is actually a common weapon or whether amiibo weapons are now part of the compendium though, would need to get another weapon to test that.

Sort of. You get it as a reward for completing a series of quests at Typhlo Ruins, and once you've found it (or gotten it through amiibo) you can buy it from the Bargainer Statues down in the Depths.

I hope somewhere in the game I can get the sword of the six sages I LOVE IT at least I can get EVERY amiibo because I have the cards, but sadly no totk one!
You can through a series of quests at Typhlo Ruins. You'll eventually need the four sages though. It's rather simple. A researcher will ask for help with a tablet he found, go to the location hinted at on it (all are within the ruins), and demonstrate the ability of the sage in question (Sidon's is a little tricky because it doesn't indicate that the attack has to be charged). Do all four and a hidden entrance will open, with the sword as your reward.
Dusk claymore is close enough to sword if six sages and yes I can get the “twilight” bow but no light arrows :(
Can you get multiple copies of Amiibo weapons rescanning after they break or is it a 1 time deal?

Fun facts about the skin if you had the amiibos enabled on your breath of the Wild when you first started tears of the Kingdom it would have the amiibos on

We have finished everything in the game so far the only item that the link amiibo gives us is a decayed sword, a pristine sword that is only 18 for attack strength. A piece of cloth for the paraglider. Hit the random mushrooms. All of these can be obtained very easily near the beginning of the game anyway so as far as we're concerned the amiibo do we have is completely worthless. Other than something we can sit on a shelf and tell people that it's a waste of money.
Okay, on the changing the date thing. What happens when you set the date back to normal? Will you be able to use the amiibos again after a week, or are they gone for every single day you've advanced through?

Haven’t watched it, but I’m hoping that the Zelda one still gives twilight bow! Also quite sad you have to do the amiibo thing like that in botw you could just load the prev save I don’t wanna spend a billion years getting the divine helms. Also either the totk amiibo gives the of the wild set, or they will make something later for the of the wild set, at least the only one I like a bunch is the of the twilight
All armor sets and weapons can be found in the game without the amiibo. The only exclusive things are the paraglider fabrics.
I wish you could get the seashell sword from awakening and the magic shield from Zelda 1 as a drop to really complete the look damn it Nintendo.
I have done 30 and ss link and only goodbye boutfit no sword spammed it for over 300 "days" dame with zelda amiibo no shield...... how long did it take you to get all these

no you can't find any of it except the twilight bow
@@firedrake5472 Are you sure? You can get Majora's Mask without an amiibo and I've seen a lot of people get amiibo items without the amiibo so far. I just wanna know if there are any that are amiibo only and if so, which ones.

It should work, you just have to get it by random chance.

I have tried and tried to get the Dusk Bow from Twilight Zelda, and have never once gotten it. I keep getting opals, and random drops, never any good weapons.

So i found a free broken tears of the kingdom amibo at best buy in the back shelfs, and qhen i got back home i scanned the amibo and it worked.
I fused a sea breeze boomerang to a another sea breeze boomerang to create a “boomerang boomerang”
Do I have to change my date every time I scan? Or can I reload until I get what I want?
You can change the date if you want to rescan or load the save file before scanning the amiibo to see what you reroll.
How quickly can you start getting the Link Outfits im starting the game in the Sky island barely on the 3rd shrine of the game with these Amibos
Go to the Depths to find them. The Awakening Set and Fierce Deity Set are found in caves on the surface, but all the classic green outfits are found in the Depths. In fact all listed items and outfits can be found somewhere in the game. No need for amiibo unless you want the paraglider fabric.

All of the armor sets and weapons can be found within the game without using amiibo. Most are located in the Depths and can be found in various chests, some of which are guarded by enemies. A few, like the Fierce Deity Set, are gained through quests on the surface. The Bow of Twilight (Dusk Bow) can be found at the top of the central most spire of Hyrule Castle.
I've not played BOTW. I've wanted to, but I'm on a super tight budget, and I'm a single mom, so if I AM buying a $60 video game, it's for my son on his birthday. However, I would like to try and save for a full price game. And, I am really interested in TOTK... would it be good for a person like me, who hasn't played BOTW? Or should I really try to play it before TOTK? Any recommendations are appreciated! 😊
Hey Froggy! TOTK is much larger game full of so much! It makes BOTW very boring. This game is absolutley WORTH it. It will last a VERY VERY long time. You can watch a video that just shows the synopsis of the botw story i suggest Zeltik TH-cam channel who does a great job!
I don't know if it helps your situation, but you can buy Nintendo vouchers if you have online that lets you buy two full price games and save $30-40 in the process.

i dint know that smash link amiibo also gave you armor because i apear to be quit unlucky then cause everytime i scanned it i only got weapons

Sadly not
It fires regular arrows. It has good distance range, but no longer fires light arrows.
That’s NEVER happened to me with 8-Bit Link. I’ve actually been trying to do that. It’s really handy if you still get the pants and cap. Because if you resell them. You will make bank with rupees. 😂

In botw, you get majora's mask from an EX chest in the trial of the sword dlc. It was never in the young link majora's mask amibo.
Majoras Mask link might be the best Amiibo
Doesn't give me the Sword, OOT only gives me armor and not the Goron Sword. I've scanned well over 100 times and I only get swords that are 8 attack or lower🤬 Have you gotten the amiibo swords?

Yeah, it's just random chance.
To save you time, this sword, along with practically all of the armor and weapons dropped by amiibo, can be found in the Depths. There are a few exceptions like the Fierce Deity Set, the Awakening Set, and a few weapons that are obtained on the surface. Regardless of where you find them, all weapon and armor items are available in the game itself without the amiibo. The paraglider fabric is really the only unique thing to get.

I have been trying to go ahead and use link rider to get the travelers bridal and traveler saddle I have only been getting soldiers broadsword can you confirm or deny if it is possible so I can stop wasting my time doing it I have tried over 50 times now
You just get a glider
The Traveler's Bridle and Saddle are gotten through Pony Points at the Stables.
So I’m at the part where I’m able to use amiibo, but am I able to get treasure chests as well or just items? Not sure if it’s bad rng but I’ve been trying to get fierce deity for half hour and I only get shrooms

I didn't get no armor with none of my amibo. I'm so confused. Some of the amibos didn't give me chest
Only specific amiibos give chests, and when you open the chest there is a small chance of getting one of the items.
You also need to beat one of the 4 temples in order to get full amiibo rewards, just like botw
