    Well done. They make some screwdrivers that are called “ screw holding “ screw driver or “hold it “ screw drivers. They can be a huge help. The one caution about doing headlights I have seen is make sure that your are removing the right screws. One set hold it in place the others adjust the beam.

    • @MotoByChance
      @MotoByChance  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is a great point and I will be pinning this comment. Thank you!
      We have looked into magnetic screw drivers, but they are lower on our 'tools we need to get' list at the moment. It is hard to replace a tool that works well for you 90% of the time. You know?

    Fantastic! You did it! When I was a little girl on road trips with my parents, every time a bug hit the windshield, my mom said, “Do you know what the bug said when he hit the windshield? It took guts to do that.” 😉

    Great video and very informative,...I will say this,...I wanted to replace my stock lights with LED as most riders do and when I went to place my chrome beauty ring around the headlamp I couldn't get it to lock down not realizing I needed the retaining spring placed in the ring, out of the 20+ videos I watched on TH-cam yours was the ONLY one that mentioned the retaining spring/clip and how to line it up so good on you! Thank you and ride safe!

    Nice thing about Harleys is how simple they are when it comes to doing almost anything to them. I have a 2019 RK and I’m slowly adding things and TH-cam has been great help. I’m not that far from you all near Bakersfield. Ride safe!!

      You are fairly close. 👍🏻 The only lights I have run into that have stumped me are the front LED signals. I need to rewrite them and have one wire I do not know what to do with. There forums has not been helpful so far either.
      And I too love the RKs. They are my favorite HD produces.

    • @hectorguzman8435
      @hectorguzman8435 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MotoByChance I agree. I love them too I’m trying to give my ‘19 RK an old school classic look and I’m struggling finding some accessory parts because they don’t make them anymore for this year etc lol. I’ll ask around about the LED rewiring and if I find something out I’ll send you a message! Some years closer to our models have a very similar if not identical way of changing certain things
