Looks like a fairly simple install. "Miss Sallyann" came with LED headlights and they are super bright. On my old scoot, it had the H4 Halogen and they were OK. Nothing like your bike. Great install.

I just transitioned my 2019 road king from halogen to LED headlight and auxiliary lights. I’m pleased even though it was a pain to put it all back together lol I’m horrible mechanically
I get it Hector especially the headlamp ring.....good I cut that part out. Enjoy the KING!
@@BoDean52 exactly!! since the ring has that little metal that latches to a metal piece that holds it, don’t lose it lol. And my bike has visor on all the lights so extra headache for me lol
The end result looks great. Follow those @customdynamics directions...they won't steer you wrong...lol. You definitely still have the original overall look but much improved lighting. Ride safe 👊👍🇺🇸

You tube video never fails to disappoint. Did you need resistors ? Do you need them for the front and the back or does one end do it?

Yeah Yeah Yeah!! So many times I've heard you say that you're going to keep Duke "As Is", no upgrades!! LOL, just mess'n with ya Brotha!! Lighting, for the sake of safety is extremely important, to see and be seen. I have to say tho, every time I see Duke, I'm reminded of Flo, my 2006 RoadKing Classic that was totaled by being rear ended. Great memories on that bike. Nice install video with Custom Dynamics Lighting!!

Looks great. Adjustment for LED lamps are different. If you don’t want everyone flashing the brights at you while you on low beam, Doc Harley at Low Country Harley has a great video up on his channel for those lights. Lol. I have to do my Road King as everyone hates my low beams.

I have heard of them from others positively. For now both of my motorcycles have custom dynamics lights all over them but nice to know there’s a back up. Do you think Spring will come fast for us are we looking at April?

Nothing like new LEDs to completely change the look of a bike...I love my LED setup...still need to swap out the turn signals & taillight, but that's coming soon...I got a set that's red to match my bike & got a new shorter Memphis Shades windshield with the red fade on the bottom too...looks like a completely different bike than when I bought it...I love my classic motorcycle, but I also love upgrading it in a few key areas...need to do new rear shocks on mine...the originals, while still pretty decent, could be better...& I want to put some true duals with fishtails & a set of mayhem bars & I think I'm gonna call it good on mine...then it'll be the perfect mix of custom & classic...
I agree with you and that’s what I was trying to make sure that I did was keep the classic look but I just had to upgrade the lights
Have a 2005 Black Cherry RK as yours is still a beautiful bike. Changed lights with exactly the same Custom Dynamics as you installed last summer. Was waiting threw the whole video for you to adjust the headlight. Maybe you can make another Video addressing that.

Did you have to install a different flasher for the LEDs? Or load reducer? Or anything?

Okay! The headlight and passing lights look awesome! Did you have to re-aim the headlight and passing lights? I might actually get those passing lamps and headlamp for my 07 RK. To be honest I don’t see anything wrong with the stock turn signals and tail light. I have the same kit you used to have where my rear turn signals have red lenses and function as combo running lights, brake lights, turn signals. Seems plenty bright to me. The headlight/passing lights though is another story, I’m thinking that has to be a huge and worthwhile improvement! Thanks 👍

Got these lights and love them but on my main headlight the trim is loose wondering what I did wrong?
Don’t feel bad happens to almost everyone including when I did mine, they are frustrating! I ended up buying a new one ordering from Harley that worked and I swear I will never take it off again. Good luck!
Great video. It's good to see Custom Dynamics on older bikes. My 2000 RK has their lights all on the back and I have their turn signals (front and back). I want to get the pro beam head light and passing lamps too but they are not budget friendly, lol. Godspeed

hello, we installed the passing lamps and headlamp and kept the original turn signals. Now, the gas meter & turning signals don’t work. Fuses are all okay. I got it checked out by someone and they do not know what it can be. Have you ever ran into this issue ? the turning signals blink once and then shut off.
I have not, did you do an ECM sink? If not, look up Custom Dynamics at 919-554-0949. They are good people and will help you out

Had to soder my passing lamps did you use the head light spring on your install ive got a gap on the top portion where the head lamp beauty ring is
That’s stupid headlight ring has driven me crazy for two changes. I finally bought a new one and swear I’m never gonna touch it again
@@BoDean52 yeah may have to do the same this thing is a bear and a half and no TH-cam videos I've got to point the passing lamps down apparently need a 9/16 slotted special socket Harley engineering for ya.
I ordered the Hogwerkz day makers i have an 03 King and I can't put the chrome head light ring back on i had to use the adapter kit on mine it looks like I half about half an inch gap so do you think I can keep the back adapter piece and not use the front one ?
That has happened to me twice…..because I put two headlights on. I ended up buying a new ring set, get your frustration
@@BoDean52 so do I need to get the 7 inch ring and have to disregard the stock one ? I dont know why it wasn't recommended to add it to the purchase on the website where I got the head lights from.
The more I take things apart on this bike the more I wonder if the engineers went to home depot and lowes to piece things together

Bo, did the Custom Dynamics led-headlight plug fit properly into the stock headlight plug? Mine doesn’t seem to plug in all the way…
As I recall, I had no problem with it. The people at Custom Dynamics are awesome and if you just call them, they will put somebody on the phone with you that will walk you through it and let you know if you need anything.

How much was the kit?
Headlamp is $270, Passing Lamps $330 and Turn Signals $109. Easiest way is to go to www.customdynamics.com, plug your bike in and they will tell you everything they have. Good luck
change stock handle bars asap, they snap between the bar brackets, new LA Custom bars are thicker steel, way safer. I found out the hard way. Get new handle bar riser bushing while you have them off.
I have gone back and forth on keeping this as close to stock as I can but must admit I am really thinking about the bars!
Received my Custom Dynamics passing lights today. "Engineered in the USA" it says proudly on the box in big letters. A small sticker underneath says "Made in Korea". I'm pretty disappointed.

You are actually right because I thought it is something nice and easy. That said, it’s stunk and I hate putting those rings on. I ended up replacing it with something else
