The fact that theirs visible battle damage as the fight progresses on them is such a dope attention to detail. The gameplay screams BT in every way! It’s evident they’re really putting their all into this, im so hyped!!

There was a bounds shielding part when Vegeta hit it. That was the only thing that bothered me
anyone who played all 3 tenkaichis knows how exciting this is, it seems they got rid of the guard break.
Sway movement and side stepping as well .. seems triangle circle didn’t come back

@@agustinfernandez5115I think it’s just the maps scaling it looks like the same speed and also you have to take into account that these are devs playing and not like competitive players so they may be taking it slow and that these aren’t speed characters
Actually no lol. Most of the voice clips you’re hearing ARE from the older games, specifically Budokai 3 and the Tenkaichi games. Apart from a few lines, most of the lines during the gameplay is placeholder. Even in the trailer 2 you hear Sean Schemmel pronouncing Kaioken like “Kayo-ken” which is how he used to pronounce it 20 years ago, and it was wrong.
Anyone else notice they're using some of the voice lines and grunts from the OG Budokai games, crammin this one full of nostalgia!

Well most likely it is, those might be placeholder images, but if you noticed the characters that were revealed in the most recent trailer were added to that. My guess is that every trailer they gonna show more and more and release more characters until its full, and by that time we might get a release

It's 3 characters more than bt3 bro and it has dbs fodder from t.o.p. I'm not happy about that and most of those are transformations. There are 4 base form Goku on that list and they all have ssj forms surrounding them so take that into account

I’m not a big fan of fighting games but when a new DBZ comes out it is the only one I’ll really buy and play because it just has such a different feel and the characters are so iconic.

One thing I'd like to see them bring back is the transformations and customizations of Budokai 3 (not Budokai Tenkaichi, Budokai) instead of having half the roster be different iterations of Goku and Vegeta.

id love to see some story mode fights that are imposable to win like the story demands you lose kinda fights but if you manage to pull it off you get something for it
constructive criticism here, make the voice acting for the transformations a bit more special, there should be more roar and echo especially going blue. the audios easily taken from the show too.

The man explained how much effort they've put into the game well you can tell by the way he talks you must have loved the previous games as well.
They either used the original voice lines , or the VA's did a SUPERB job of recreating them exactly how they used to sound. When Goku takes a blow, same sound. Vegeta doing Galick Gun, same exact vocal delivery. That's not a complaint, I'm impressed with how nostalgic it already feels just watching the gameplay.

the sidedash mechanic is obviously inspired by Kakarot gameplay as most well other little details they should bring back the button smash from burts limit it was awesome
Kakarot has nothing to do with this game and the gameplay in that game is garbo
- Needs more powerful transformative sounds.
- More importantly, the hair of super Saiyan blue needs to "wave" when powering up; all hairs should. The clothes having dynamic movement would also be cool, but perhaps the technological constraints limit such implementation.
- If you could make the aura more epic and dynamic, which they already are, would heavily impact the enjoyment of the gameplay, as it is the most dopamine producing moment of the dynamic.
Also, the Voices need to change and be better. The "whoa" of Goku has evidently aged.

Please make the impact of beams like they were in tenkaichi! Thats literally my only complaint. It looks a bit cheap in this game. In Tenkaichi the whole screen would shake and light up. Also the sound back then made it feel so impactful.
They need to find a balance of both, been playing a lot of Bt3 as a throwback in anticipation for this game but honestly the screen shake with white screen isnt the best, feels like you can't even see the result of the attack because as soon as it hits the ground you're blind and then the attack is over.
Yeah the impact and size of the attacks is lacking, they were better in by3 the attacks look too small and like they lack weight
Getting ready for 200 characters, with half of them having Full Power Energy Wave as one of their super attacks and 50 of them being characters who have show up for less than 3 minutes in the anime - the true Budokai Tenkaichi experience

All in all I'm just pumped psyched excited and really looking forward to what the creators have done with the game. Reinterpretations or new iterations of games don't always turn on all that well but it looks like sparking zero is doing it big.

What's missing are characters being sent flying into the ground or a nearby mountain like a human meteor, resulting in an impressive eruption of smoke and debris.
It's such a classic shonen trope. I'm surprised you don't see it more often in DBZ games.
