  • Third installment, just going through more assembly on the typhon. gka rc custom email address is gkacustom@gmail.com, hot racing also have a servo mount but its made up from a few pieces, the gka version is one machined piece of aluminum, much better.
Gka also do chassis braces for the arrma series of 1/8 vehicles, one solid piece, i just liked the look of the hot racing version better, I think its the drilled out holes look cool.
    Thanks for watching

I've been wondering about that motor mount. Thanks for this video, I now think it's worth the money.

if you wanna keep that sucker looking real nice, buy a 100 pack of disposable hairnets for $5. they have elastic edges, and fit perfectly around the typhon chassis tub. i use them on mine, & it works perfectly. just a tip for those guys who dont like dusty speed controllers, or binding steering linkage from rocks.

You know you have your steering angled rod ends on backwards? Their supposed to be angled towards the hub to allow for more clearance for the rim at full lock. 👍

How do the carbon fiber shock towers hold up to a hardcore bashing brother?
I've just bought a set for my Kraton. Fed up of straightening out aluminium towers after every bash. I hoping I'll never have to change them ever again.. wishful thinking bro?

    Hello
may I ask you ,can you now place larger pinion gears than the original engine mount?
I have on my talion now 24t and wants 28t but that does not fit, and maybe with this it will,
    thanks,regards hollandia

ernst jvd not sure i only bash no speed runs, i slide the motor mount out as far as it can go with and with 16t pinion there is about 2mm distance between the spur and pinion, so i dont think it will fit 28t

ernst jvd contact Michael Meyers on Facebook in the Arrma Rc arrmy group and he sells and makes extended mounts to suits larger pinions , I have one myself. He is from Germany.
