Ishiro Serizawa. I watched the movie.
I wish I learned to animate then I could animate Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre clashing once more while everyone looks on in terror and awe as two legendary forces tear apart their world with this playing in the background. Then an emerald green flash and mega Rayqyuaza. But Primal Kyogre and Groudon's power is to strong as Rayquaza lies on the ground beat up, and helpless. The people and pokémon can only watch as the end of the world happens before their eyes.

The fun thing is, while there were no pokemon involved there really was a catastrophic battle between land and sea. 4 billion years ago...When the atmosphere cooled enough that liquid water could form it began to rain... and rain... and rain, for 2 million years. all the while volcanoes erupted nonstop, sprouting mountains overnight, spewing ash and lava into the atmosphere while storms of unimagineable power raged around the world. Pokemon ruby and sapphire is in a way... based on a true story.
Has that apocalyptic feel to it, befitting the first set of Legendaries that screams "monstrous" and "destructive". And I loved how Glitch deviated from dubstep (although some of her dubstep remixes are good) to orchestral.
The way I like to picture in my mind with this song, like 2 other people said: You, the player has failed to stop Groudon and Kyogre and their titanic battle is destroying everything. When the really dramatic part of the song with the chorus, I picture people being overtaken by massive floods and buildings tumbled by Groudon's Precipice Blades. Then Rayquaza comes to try to stop them but they're too powerful and quickly knock him down. But towards the end of the song, I picture Rayquaza rising, glowing with energy as he mega evolves and everyone stands in awe watching. The sky becomes a gigantic storm as Rayquaza's true power is unleashed and it does an epic Dragon Ascent on Primal Groudon and Kyogre, annihilating them. The end.
2:00 to 2:06 is that feeling of hopelessness as Kyogre and Groudon tear everything apart.

Also, Gen 3+ is late a generation. It should have been here with Gen 5. Just like Gen 1+ came with Gen 3 and Gen 2+ came with Gen 4.

You know those 3d "historical" fanmade tapes the AOT fandom makes, where its the anime but super realistic in old film? Imagine that but events in Pokemon. Seeing Groudon rumble its way to destroy everything in some 1940s quality film would be god damn horrifying.
Honestly, so many remixes of this song feel a lot more like what this battle actually would be rather than the actual song. The original version, even if it's an absolute banger, doesn't feel like an apocalyptic clash between two kaiju that can raise the mountains and waters just by breathing, and that's what I love about these remixes. Not that I hate the original, I REALLY don't, it's fantastic, but the Remixes, for me at least, almost ALWAYS encapsulate the raw apocalyptic terror that Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza carry, and I really love that.
Couldn't agree more. Going back and playing through Emerald or ORAS I mute my game to listen to this track and it really makes the fight more intense. I get chills every time.

When suddenly in an attempt based on pure desperation Rayquaza does not mege evolve.. No Rayquaza goes primal and let's out the most primal and rage filled roar that shakes the earth to it's very bones, both Kyogre and Groudon stop and look at the enraged lord of the sky as green meteors being to fall. This is the end.

I remember hearing this when you have to fight Groundon in Pokemon Rejuvenation. Really adds to the intensity of the situation of fighting a legendary pokemon, as it should since these trios are not meant to be a joke but catastrophic in nature, both figuratively and literally.

Since groundon has a 4x weakness to water if the extreme sunlight didn't get set up and instead was countered by extreme rain from kyogre there is a 50% chance the movie would be just an rain boosted origin pulse to an OHKO on groundon. And even if it was countered 3 ice beams KO too.

I love the direction you took with this one, I definitely feel that the dark mix of tribal and ethereal fits with this song far better than dubstep/techno would. By far better than the original remix, and that was a good remix.

Im glad u made the smart move and remixed from the original sound instead of changing the original into something else. A score like this should be kept as close to the origininal as possible because of its repetition and intense feel, and u did a nice job giving tht intensity a boost. Took ts strong point and made it stronger still.

Well, yeah ,of course it'll be remade. Though hopefully not until at least Gen 10. There is no real reason to remake them currently and they like having a reason.
They've said they don't want to just make the same game and the mechanics etc. are still mostly the same as Gen 4.
They should remake Gen 1 again next gen to bring them up to date (since their remakes were also Gen 3 and there's been a lot of advancement since then) and then stop for a while.
Gulls UHHH GEN 10?! Gen 1 was remade in Gen 3, Gen 2 was remade in Gen 4, and Gen 3 was remade in gen 6. Pretty sure they'll make it around at most 8 or 9.
