- In the final series of #ADiscoveryOfWitches, Matthew and Diana return from their trip to 1590 to find tragedy at Sept-Tours. They must find the missing pages from the Book of Life and the Book itself before it’s too late. Their enemies are gearing up against them, and a monster from Matthew’s past who has been lying in wait will return for revenge.

The (international best selling) trilogy of Books were amazing. And it’s not often I say this, but the first two seasons of the TV adaptation were just as good. And now Season three looks set to continue that trend. Can’t wait to January 2022.

In an industry where any show related to witches ends up a daft teen drama, A Discovery Of Witches has been a breath of fresh air. Really a waste that it's going to end.

It was written as a trilogy only. There is a fourth book but not based solely on Diana and Matthew. But we will have this incredible trilogy to watch and read over and over again. The production is top notch.
Like others said before, their story was written as a trilogy. Prolonging might turn something good into bad sequels after bad sequels. Nontheless I will be sad. There is a 4th book coming about Marcus, but Matthew and Diana, their chemistry is something else. I would also like seeing Gallowglass to be happy somehow. Hopefully the author will write about these children. They must be stirring up all kinds of trouble.

I can't wait any longer, yet I do not want it to be over. Mr Goode looks gorgeous as always... such a talented actor. I love, love, LOVE the chemistry between Matthew and Teresa. Outstanding acting, sets, cinematography, costumes and more!

I discovered this TV Series by chance and I must say what a good discovery it was... Was so impatient to wait till next year to see what happens that I got me the book instead.. The last season should be awesome if not epic.. Can't wait.. Love Matthew btw...

For the first time in my life I can say that a t.v. program ( or a movie) past the book! I have read the books , plus the other connected books ( I hope they will be season 4 or part of Marcus life will be in season 3) and the series..hmm .3 times, I can't get enough of it. The cast is amazing and everybody work for the series did a he'll of a wonderfull job. Can't wait !

This show amazes me....and I love how the vampires and witches are fictionally portrayed in here. It is well done and amazingly good story. I can't wait to watch Series 3. Also, maybe a movie in the future.

i hate to see this show go. first true blood went, then Dexter - then The Originals on the CW channel, Vkings - gone too and then i discovered this gem and now this is the last season. I'm heartbroken but i can't wait to see it. i too love these actors that were chosen for this series and i'm given to understand Harkness wrote a fourth book having to do with Marcus. that's a must have. Can't wait to see season 3. :)

Absolutely read the books! You won’t be disappointed. One of the few series’ that I can read and watch over and over.
They are awful!! Very poorly written, maybe for a younger reader because the writing is shallow and extremely easy to follow but if you’re a seasoned reader I’d get a sample first!

What worries me is that Volume 3 contains a lot of relevant plot, but Season 3 has only seven episodes.
So much action has already been omitted. Diana's first mis-carriage, the rounds with Corra on the Thames. Almost the entire plot with gallow glass. Unfortunately, it also goes too fast in the film how Phillip and Diana find each other. It doesn't come across that Phillip loves Diana from the bot-tom of her heart, as a daughter.
I'm most excited about Verin. Unfortunately, it comes in Germany only in February on Sky. That means waiting an-other four weeks. *that sucks*
