The first episode is on prime but even though i am a prime Amazon member, I couldn’t even rent it. Does Anyone know where i can watch it and is there only one show made so far?

Just found this show and thank God it's not a coming-of-age story about a young chosen one who has no idea of who or what she is tasked to save the world.
Yeah, I'm tired of those.
But that happens in the real world all of the time, just there is no camera crew to film it.
I've watched this series over a couple of times, and with each renewed viewing, I dawn on something new that I didn't pick up on from the last time.
The first few minutes of this episode are a perfect start to a wonderful series.

… I personally disagree. In the books Matthew has brought into Diana‘s life because of the witches at the opera he had no precognition of her except by myth and rumors bouncing between all four groups of myths within misinformation. I like it better that he set out to get to know where her and then fell in love with her. I think the books are much more superior to plot line and history and mythology of witch lore. But that is just me, and I love to talk about it even as gentle disagreements … 🙏🏻🔥💐
This series was so good.a great cast,intelligently written,and not like a lot of other series I come across,pandering to teenagers and those in their early twenty's,but being able to be enjoyed by a lot older viewers like myself.

see and I feel the opposite. it absolutely caters to this teenage view of love and romance. its teenagers playing house... adult cosplay. her thought patterns lack the maturity of her alleged age. that's poor writing and it's sad bc the idea is novel.
i hope so. that's why i tend to avoid fantasy

I have to say Oxford University buildings look spectacular in this episode. Great pictures.
They built the inside of the library as a set to film and it wouldn’t be practical to actually film and do stunts inside the real library.

Great books
I waited with bated breath for each of the three seasons and I wasn't disappointed. Since then I've rewatched all a few times and loved it (even feeling a bit slighted by S3). It's always difficult to have a show or movie do justice with an adaptation but this was good.
It's bated breath not baited. As in abated, held. As in holding ones breath.

One of my favorite series.. A wonderful story... Imagination in it is intertwined giving it a beautiful realism... Wow wow wow ✨
As someone who's not into sci-fi or witches and wizardry (have never read a single Harry Potter book), I must say I really enjoyed this. The storyline is tense and engaging and I'm sure will get even more so as the season progresses. I just hope there isn't a lot of blood and gore because that would make me instantly switch off. Very well acted and I love the soundtrack - it's really evocative.
Yeah… I don’t understand why they’re reading books like psychopaths, I personally saw these in colleges too, but don’t understand why they’re so weird 😐
There isn't a lot of blood or gore, even for a story involving Vampires. It's was pretty tame in that regard.
Read "The Dracula Tape" and "An Old Friend of the Family" by Fred Saberhagen.
Great serie. From start to end. Highly recommended.
In did the trial from Shudder before the second season and binged on the whole season. What a treat that was during pandemic/quarantine.
It’s one of the underrated series and brilliantly made!

I read the book earlier..found one from 2nd hand book store ..got addicted to it then the 2nd book n 3rd..didnt know the made a series till i saw n read the trailer ..was so excited back then
I listened to all 3 books on Sirius Radio, then ordered all. At that time it was only a thought in progress, by accident I find this. I hope it lives up to the books.

Increíble I read the books 3 times and the first episode I have seen it 4 times. We want more!!! When?
Want to be these people… Minus the witch, and vampire stuff… Want to live somewhere like this for a season. Want to have an attention span and dedication to work that both opens and closes libraries in the same day, day in and day out, and a photograph memory.

the mind blowing series
I love this show. I watch it on repeat when I am at the house cleaning, cooking some good food and just doing nothing because it is good. It’s not boring, fun to watch. I like how the vampires are allowed to be in daylight in this show and shows how they think due to their age almost like some of the elves in the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit films.

@@tecnoespin3181 sadly no. I got the first season on dvd and on iTunes so I can watch it whenever I am on my lunch break at work or waiting for anything while running errands.
How can you watch the show when you cleaning and cooking? It means you can distracted, missing some moments and it's doesn't make any difference 😂
@@sufyanlowel4631 the tv is on the wall across from the kitchen area and if I can’t see the screen, I can still hear it enough to know what episode I am on. That’s how much I love watching the show.

I read the book years ago in Alaska, was laid up for awhile so I read this book of the Mayfair Witches one of the best witch stories of all time baring the "Twilight" series. Enjoy it's quite a wonderful binge. Enjoy your rest this fine Sabbath Day. An excuse to binge on TV today. 😉
What is the witches twilight series?
Sabbath, witches and vampires don't go together, that would be a blasphers day.
@@D4Disdainvampires are imaginary, so I suppose the author could have them celebrating Sabbats and Esbats.
It wouldn't follow the typical vampire format though.

There are Vampire Clubs all over the Western world, located in London, several places in England, Istambul Turkey, Los Angels CA, San Francisco CA, Irland, New Orleans LA, Salem MA, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, Paris France (gathering at the catacombs) Rome and several other places in Italy. Canada (where they have the annual dance ball). They prowl on Fridays going in groups at night time and they do drink blood. I personaly saw it in S. Francisco. they have filled teeth, and dress in a IXX c. black fashion. Now they don't have to prowl, having blood pouring from the South incluinding kids (like a treasure), untraceable. BE AWARE, and be safe. By the way, they hate the sound of bells.
