I just want to say that Klaus is one of the greatest literary villains ever written. The idea of a quasi-omnipotent interdimensional nazi, who can flit between otherwise entirely unrelated stories to reveal a common thread, is brilliant.
He is very similar to Randall Flagg!

When I found AtunShei films back in December 2019, I would have never guessed that it would inevitably lead to me watching a 20 minute lore catch-up video in preparation for the tenth and final episode of “Checkmate, Lincolnites,” a wildly unpopular Internet show.
And not to forget a finale with interdimensional Nazis, 16th century which hunters, and massive battles.
It’s a work of art.
As much as I like this series, I hope that he doesn't become another 'Doug Walker', who infamously put too much of his own ego into making a 'movie' that didn't do very well (not saying I won't enjoy this, I just hope he takes what happens in stride).
@@MrChupacabra555 Unlike Doug Walker who lauds his work, Atun Shei at least loves to critique his own work, and make fun of it, instead of holding it up as 'great", he calls it "mid" which always gets a chuckle out of me.

Crazy how what essentially was a TH-cam series giving in-depth history on the Civil War and debunking misconceptions surrounding it, is slowly turning into the best sequel series to Indiana Jones and Evil Dead combine
Atun shei really just made a better Indiana jones sequel involving Nazis and otherworldly means of travel than Disney did with less of everything.

Every time i hear it, "The Devil's tongue wags in thy mouth" just sounds more and more badass. It's such an intense rebuke of Johnny: not just the words but the idea that he isn't even the originator of his own claims and positions.
I really hope Frozen 50s man joins this crossover.

"pull the plug" hit me hard, cause klaus just acted out the metaphor but as a nazi. the end of the lost cause myth could mean giving up on the Confederacy, or it could mean a mask off embrace of what it really stood for. i see what you did there.

Something became perfectly clear to me after watching this all back to back. Andy, you should consider making a schlocky adventure movie ala 1999's the Mummy. Maybe if you feel like debunking more ancient aliens stuff in the future. You've certainly got the talent for horror comedy that is needed for that kinda genre to be successful.

it’s such an intriguing idea the Nazis attempting to seize this new opportunity in America with Trumps facisam mimicking their own ideals and the fact that both the Nazis and confederates are still out there hiding out there waiting for something like this makes it a tiny bit realistic
even if not 1 to 1 the CSA’s ideals align with Trump’s and Trump’s align with the Nazis all 3 believe in racial superiority the modern neo-confederates in America support Trump irl anyway so the idea of the Nazis tricking the cult to play itself for America to collapse into facisam with the revival of the original confederates is a very interesting concept
However just like the Nazis and CSA any actual full length film for something like this ain’t gonna be allowed for years after the events

Alright, I want to preface this political comment by saying that I really love Checkmate Lincolnites, and I've got no Ill will to the dude making the series. He's a comedic genius debunking a dangerous myth that just refuses to die.

That being said, his portrayal of the MAGA movement, even within this piece of satire, I dislike. It does not just exaggerate, but fundamentally fails to understand what that movement is actually trying to achieve. They want border security, self-sufficiency, deregulation, lowered taxes, an end to overtly atheist education in public schools, and other nominally Christian values (although they very much fail to emulate the graceful, merciful nature of Jesus). We have two parties. One advocates for equality, one advocates for racial reparations. Obviously the 5 Neo-Nazis in the country are going to align with the less progressive one. Why pretend that they're an accurate representation of the Republican party? The hardline Trump people may be conspiracy theorists, but few are racist.
You came so close to saying the truth. One party advocates for equality, the other racial separation.
