- 2023 Toyota Tundra review! The 2022 Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck -- and it's fully redesigned from the previous generation. Today I'm reviewing the newly redesigned Toyota Tundra. This beast of a machine is as close as you can get to driving a luxury Lexus pickup with all the toughness and durability you expect from a Toyota. I will also review the driving experience of the new Toyota Tundra.

Toyota is best car for me
I hated the back seat head room in the 2023 Tundra. I am very tall (taller than you) and I did not think the cutout was big enough for me to sit comfortably.
Tundra Capstone
Four weeks in on a Capstone its been back to dealer for 8 days of the 28 days due to high levels of vibration increased under load and towing.
1. Took 50+ presses of the fuel cap release to get it to start working,
2. Rear tailgate same issue but continues.
3. The side steps keep staying out,
4. The middle rear seatbelt alert goes off without anyone sat in it,
5. The rear tailgate is 4x larger gap LHS than RHS,
6. The hybrid hasn't kicked in once sat in the school line stationery daily,
7. Gas mileage hasn't topped 16mpg with tops 8mpg towing 6K lbs along i10.
8. The screen has now failed and requires a pin every 10 to 20 minutes.
9. All niggles but the vibration under load with an empty car trailer and then loaded results in front seats vibrates violently 1" to 2" forward and back at a high rate......according to 'experts' at Mike Calvert Toyota Houston this is apparently how Toyota trucks are. Including the panel spacing quote the Service Manager "all the Tundra's in our lot are that bad!"........
You missed my favorite options...rear sliding window and the side marker tailgate release.

Is AC power in rear with different trim levels and hybrid or non hybrid?
The black and white interior being the only color option on the Capstone is a serious miss by Toyota.
I drove the capstone….awesome truck but definitely not a “work” truck; at least not for the guys getting down and dirty. That interior is nice.
Does it the capstone I force take regular gas?
Surprisingly yes, per Toyota’s manual, “87 (Research Octane Number 91) or higher”
@@CrookedMustache I appreciate that information and I’m working towards getting the Toyota tundra capstone but I’m stuck on getting the red one or the black one that’s the hardest choose lol smh
Might have to be the ugliest truck ever made next to the ridgeline.
