I'm impressed by your attention to details, by not putting dirty spoons in the sesame paste. I keep telling my wife the same thing, but she always does it...worse she adds other flavors to the sauces! Also, I now finally understand why more water is added when cooking noodles/dumplings. I didn't realize it was just to keep the temperature down a little. Thanks for the video, and enjoy your trip back to China!
Just use regular soy sauce for the same effect as light and dark combined. Toasted sesame seeds have more flavor. Use Mirin or flavored rice vinegar if you have no Asian cooking wine. Traditional spicy sesame noodles use thin noodles and scallions, not cucumber, and no sesame paste. Most of the time this dish is served cold.

@@benchmarksignsandgifts You are not Sandy's Kitchen. I think you are just a liar troll. You can't prove you have even one PM saying that but I have proof in the form of 16 thumbs up that my ideas are good. *PMs were eliminated from TH-cam over two years ago* I have not had this dish in Asia but I have had it in restaurants up and down the West coast of the US and even in markets where they sell sesame noodles by the pint the recipe is more like mine than Sandy's. In 9 years you have only managed to earn ONE subscriber which is the sign of a rejected loser, and your channel page is still blank while I have earned 100 subscribers. What a pathetic ploy this is. You haven't even liked THIS video, let alone any others.

I'm very particular, too. I have a different spoon for different things.
Oh my geez I cam eat sesame cucumber noodles for life. I love it. It's so delicious. You can literally taste all the ingredients in the salad.
Why did you stop making videos?? You are very talented and charismatic! I've really learned a lot from your channel and I wish you would come back.
