- From the 1 (G), move through the 1-4-5 progression (G-C-D) in each neck position. Pick a G chord in each position possible on the neck and practice moving through G, C & D (1-4-5) while staying in that position on the neck. One position at a time until you are comfortable with those changes and can visualize each chord in that position.

Hey Scott ,I am beginning to try to learn some guitar for the second time😂 I’ll explain. I started playing around the age of 10 and learned everything I could from anyone that played something I didn’t know and over the years I became a fair guitarist. At the age of sixty one I suffered a stroke and was completely paralyzed on my right side. After a lot of therapy and self exercise I began to regain small movements in my hand and fingers so I decided to re-learn some guitar when I saw your videos! Thanks for the inspiration! I’m getting there slowly!
Great lesson thank You so much
Thank you Scott ! Happy New Year buddy 👍
After this lesson we can play the Ragged Glory album from start to finish ;) Thanks for the lesson and happy New Year!
Thanks Scott! I love your channel and have learned so much. Accurate ways to play great tunes and essential theory around the fretboard. Two requests: One - when you show a Skynyrd song (that fades out on the studio version), please show how APB ends the song, guitarwise. Also, if you're taking requests, I would truly appreciate your take on the solo to Baker Street (Gerry Rafferty). Either way, thanks Brother!
Thanks for watching. I’ll try and remember to show the endings we do.
Baker Street! What a killer song and a very tasty solo at the end! Lots of great bends.
Thank You Sir, and Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
Hi Spot...Good to see you...Hopefully, since my health is improving I can get to some shows this year...xo
Hi Scott, Happy New Year!! Thank you for making these lessons. Being taught by a true ROCK STAR is awesome!! Best wishes, Mark.
Happy New Year! Thank you for your support! 🙏🏼
Thanks! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
Not sure how I missed this video coming out, but finally found it today. Thank you so much for doing this! I'll definitely be working on the homework you assigned.
I've been playing a lot lately and one thing I'm struggling with are my short stubby fingers. Gotta find some good exercises for some of those chords that require big stretches.
Now that I've finished learning On the Hunt I decided to do something completely different and am learning the song Bad Company from the album Bad Company by the group Bad Company LOL Making a lot of progress with it.
Thanks Scott,
Your Awesome!
😎
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Thanks again. Happy New Year!

Can you do a tutorial for lead guitar Cry for the bad man
Great fundamentals not the flashy stuff. We want to date flashy but marry the fundamentals. Flashy is our side chicks 💫🐥
Haha. Good analogy!
