@@WoodshopDiaries I have s super spoiled pittie who thinks the $14,000 fireplace remodel was for his winter comfort 🤣 It makes all the $$$ spent worth it when I see him roasting his belly in front of the fire ❤
What a fantastic idea, Shara. You have really completely reinvented this space. The entire project just oozes creativity, but the 'removable cubby' feature is just "Outa Sight" as I used to say during the days of my misspent youth. This feature also answers the question raised so often on The True Crime channel. "Where do you hide the body?" Thanks for sharing this video.
Thank you! Haha I remember the “outta sight” days 🤣 that was the big saying when I was young! So glad you enjoyed it! And also, that would be a good place to hide things…but I was thinking more along the lines of my secret stash of Oreos or like, Christmas gifts 🤣🤣🙈

Thank you!! I hope it gave you some ideas to think about 😊😉 my husband and I have been working on projects together for years. We both enjoy it but I enjoy it a lot more than he does 😂 he just wants me to leave things alone ha.
You need to add a couple of handles to the inside back of the cubbies. You could be the world champion of hide & seek! Or small, temporary panic room. The former would be more fun.
You did a great job! It really does anchor your living room well. I like the ambiance of it all and have wanted an electric fireplace myself. Also Lou did a great job of distracting you by engaging you in a friendly game of fetch when you were frustrated. But it all worked out really well.
Thank you! We haven’t had a fireplace in a long time and I’m so glad to have added one to our new home. It makes it feel cozier haha. Lucy is rotten. She knows how to work a camera 🤣 thanks so much for watching! I appreciate it 💕
