Great idea Justin, especially the option to disassemble and move. Now living in a rental doesn’t need to feel as though you’re stuck with someone else’s design. But don’t forget the TV!

@@Kaelioh7 I think either would work. Honestly I’ve had the structure up for over a year and no issues. I kind of looked at this like it was a book case. It can stand on its own, it’s attached to the wall just to secure it. Hope that helps 🤷🏼♂️

Excellent question! Honestly it’s been about a year since I completed this project so it would be only rough estimates. I linked the fireplace and the mantle in the description. Those were obviously the big expenses, but other than those - this wall probably cost me about $200-300 in materials
It looks beautiful. Just remember. Picking wrong paint color is not a horrible mistake. Paint mistakes are easily corrected. Measuring and cutting incorrectly? Now THAT'S a problem. I actually made a sign for my craft room that says, "When did," Measure twice. Cut once." become, "Measure five times and f*** it up anyway."? Good luck with your channel and keep up the great work!
