I would never have thought that I could build something like this, but I did and it turned out fantastic. My son is a musician, so instead of vial holders on the hatband, I made guitar pick holders and stamped his band name on the hatband. He tells me he got all kinds of compliments at his latest gig.
Good job Dad..!! I know your son is proud to wear his father's work. Keep going.
Will look good with the plague doctor mask. Can't wait to finish both so I can finally go shopping at Walmart safely!
You have the BEST patterns on the internet Tony! I love them snd building quite a collection! Thanks for the videos you share! 💋
The art of making fine alchemist hats has been passed down the Armstrong family for generations!
Great build. I have a good collection of your designs and love creating them.
BUT, someone get this man a stitching horse !!!!
These tutorials just keep getting better and better!
How do you make the hat in larger sizes. I have a pretty big head.
These videos are getting better and better! Keep rocking it Tony!
Stumbled on this during my TH-cam searches. good job on creating a unique hat. love it.
Lovely to hear the voice behind the videos
Cool work Tony, slowly building a collection of you patterns, love the videos👍
Awesome hat, and not so difficult to make. Thak you for sharing.
What a beautiful hat, thanks so much for the video, and for the pattern.
Another awesome video Tony! Thank you so much!
Awesome work as always. Thanks for inspiration!
This is awesome! I love it! Have you seen some of the hats with a similar pattern where they have pouches on the hat instead of vials? Its sort of like waist belt pouches but on a hat. I'd love to see an amalgam of this hat and the top hat. Love the foldover edge on the brim instead of using a separate piece. This came out beautiful!
Hi tony. My name is samuel aklilu from Ethiopia i interested that you made beautiful hat. And i am gonna learn what you teach me and i hope one day i will make it harder n my self.
no dislikes yet? where my vegans at?
You gave them Vegan thread... 😉
In little over a year, 31 of the idiots showed up to spread a little hate.
Смотрю не первый раз и всё равно залипаю. Шикарная шляпа. Благодарю.
Very nice. Thinking about making it with a Plague Doctor mask for my daughter.
Outstanding as always!
Also what dye are you using? GREAT coverage!!!!!
Just subscribed! Question, is this pattern scale-able? I have a huge noggin lol but I love the look of this hat.
comes in 8 sizes, largest is for 62 cm head circumference
Super cool work. You are well done.
I think this hat is close to the one Clint Eastwood wore in Pale Rider. Have you thought about doing that hat? If so I would love to try it. I'm in the middle of doing this hat
Plz make the Gyro Hat
Wow amezig hand work!!!
Could you make a campaign hat out of leather?
That would be challenging and awesome!
Wow! You always impress! 👍🏼
Nice tutorial, but the pattern you built had parts the one I got didn't include.
Hi Tony, I bought this pattern but the pattern does not include the rim part of the top. (to connect item B to C) Item C is not included as per the video. Also the holes do not show being round and nor are there any center markings to allign properly, I have the same issue with the Bandit cowboy hat.
What dye are you using to get that lovely black?
Where can I get the small glass bottles?
I found some on wish.com
OMG your tutorial are amazing and really helpful for understanding the process.
If I Can answer, what is the thickness of the leather? And witch kind for you is usable? Natural or synthetic too?
Thanks
Have a great weekend
i used 5 oz veg tan leather
I love your british Accent
Out of all the hats youve made, whats the easiest? I would like to attempt this
Where did you get the little vials?
I love the look of this hat, but wouldn't it chafe at the base of the crown? I seem to recall seeing some kind of comfort band on a mass-marketed hat, before. Might be a nice thing for people to add in, if they plan on wearing for prolonged periods of time
Very cool project!
Amazing work !
Do you have any thoughts on this vs the plague Dr. hat? Without the video its kinda hard to understand whats different between them and the comparitive difficulty&time.
Tony, how did you do antique effect in your works
Very impressive!!
I guess this is the first video we can hear your voice on, isn´t it?
third i think
Okay, now I´ll have to watch all your videos again. xD
Hoy, Tony. What paint do you use? Brand and type ??
Beautiful!
Should have made a little pouch on the belt as well but it looks awesome tho👍
Great job.
Where i can find the mini bottle ? or the measure ?
That is bad ass!!
What is the weight of the leather you’re using? Thanks for the pattern and tutorial, by the way, looks great and looking forward to trying it!
NM on the weight, just heard you say 5oz. Still curious as to the brand/type of dye. I can only get alcohol based here and the coverage is VERY short of spectacular!
sadly I cant buy, but keep the amazing work
Сhic needle bed!
its onesize?
O sh|t... I just started cutting this pattern and now I checked how to make wire in brim... and I noticed that my pattern is bit differnt :D
Besutiful
Hi, I'm searching for a leather for this project before buying the pattern and I found a piece that mesure 6'x25", is that gonna be enough for this project ?
Hi Tony! I guess this pattern designed for the particular head size. Seems like it's about 58cm.. Do you have any tips there in your files. how to scale it for other head size?
comes in 8 sizes, largest is for 62 cm head circumference, smallest is 55
What type of leather
Super build. Is there in the pattern taken account for individuel hat sice?
I don’t understand the question
@@DieselpunkRo i My have a Birger head Then you. Or smaler. Hov du i adjust the sice of the hat?
Bigger*
@@knudsrensen8763 comes in all sizes😊
it says with pattern download but I cant find it?
What size head is this based on? I fear I'd have to scale up for the hat to fit.
the pattern comes in all sizes, no scaling is required
Do u use full grain leather for your crafts? If not how is the leather called?
yes, veg tan for this one
👍🇷🇺

Just too beautiful...
Sweet gear bro! I need to get back into making vegetable and brain tanned leather! Nothing beats the natural stuff! It's just god-awful to make though x.x
