    I just replaced mine, this video was helpful, thanks! A word of caution: on my car the sheetmetal near where the battery posts are had some sharp burrs. I tapped them flush and covered them with duct tape to prevent getting cut up.

    I sell and install batteries, just had a customer come it with this vehicle. I swear, engineers never ever have the customer in mind when they build these cars. dismantling the entire inside of the trunk just to replace the battery is absolutely ridiculous to say the least smdh

    After replacing batter says in owners manual you have to turn ignition on but do not start engine 2 leave ignition on for 3 minutes so electronic throttle control cycles and relearns it’s position 3 turn engine off 4 start run engine for at least 30 seconds did you show the relearn procedure this is for push button start only I believe

    • @nestormacias9951
      @nestormacias9951  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good catch on that. I personally didn’t do that on mine and it’s push start as well.. I didn’t have no issues but could prevent problems if it’s on the Manual

    Thanks for the vid. There’s so little info/vids out there for this car!! Lol. My ATS is recently having some issues plus the battery is on its way out so I’m going to replace this weekend. Was there any issues after the install as far as codes or anything that needed to be reset or recalibrated? Thanks again. Sub’d!

      @nestormacias9951  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Michael L Tell me about it! Very little on this car which can be a good thing I guess lol but nothing needed to be recalibrated when you install the battery.

    This is so helpful thank you. Other thing, I really want to know how can you remove the taillight (I just got the LED light bulb module to replace the bad one. is it doable cuz everyone including the dealership recommend me to change the whole assembly.

    Whats that platic thing that you had on you old battery and transferred to your new battery called? For the hose insert?? I’m trying to order it because I don’t have it is it a most? Or can I have my battery without the plastic on the hose??

    • @nestormacias9951
      @nestormacias9951  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is called a battery vent elbow/ hose. You can buy them online or possibly find them at your auto part store. I’d recommend you get it just because your battery is inclosed in the back or your trunk.

      There should be a hidden key in your FOB and a key hole near the license plate light that should let you in. Have you tried to see if you can reach for the trunk release through the rear seat pass through?
