Never once thought of this song as repetitive. It is a protest song vs people not fighting for the environment. There is a change from Who is Gonna be the one to I am gonna be the one as it progresses. You are right for all their progressives there is still groove in Jinjer.
It grows on you. It kinda got me too when i first heard it, but after learning the lyrics I realized it was intended to beat you over the head. So after hearing it 100 times, I just listen to all the little intricate parts the band throws in and love on Tati's vocal changes. Great reaction!
If your thinking about going to see Jinjer at Toads Place (East Coast I presume) and they are headlining don't think twice, buy tickets now. Doesn't matter who is playing with them, Jinjer (Tatiana Shmayluk lead singer) always performs way better with a smaller inside venues. It will be insane when their act comes on. Seen them at the Ace Of Spades in Sacramento 2 years in a row and has to be the most wildest and fun time ever. They are the opening act on tour now with Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed, but they are doing in between cities headlining at the same time. Great reaction and have fun.
That is a set timer. Very common at festivals. There is a stage manager who is responsible for keeping all the bands on time but for the band they have the timer to let them know how much time they have. It can be a lot like a production line where everything is timed out. One of the not very entertaining parts of the entertainment business. There is one other video from this show for the song "Words of Wisdom".
Just saw them live. Best show ever! Go. I’d love to see them in a small venue. I watched in a crowd of 19,000 at Blossom in Ohio. They’re crazy loud!!!!
Ikr? And what's funny is that he was annoyed by the repetition in the chorus! It's a bloody chorus, what did he expect? Apparently he doesn't know that repetition is what makes the message stick in the listeners' heads.

From the same concert "Words of Wisdom" (Live, Napalm records) is a great performance.

Repetiotion killing you?!
So you don't like choruses?!
You have to go. I saw Jinjer and they are INCREDIBLE live. Tati's stage presence is unreal.
Lol what repetition ?? Damn near every song ever made has "repetition" except mixtape rap with no hooks 😂😂😂😂

Go see them live. Trust me, you won't get repetition. They are very progressive, super talented and mix so many different styles.
Was about to watch this reaction till I read the comments...based on that, I'll pass.

Just get on down the road! You most definitely are nit the first to try this schtick!
