Great video boat looks great. I just got one a day ago never hit water but has a small crack where the sponson meets deck it’s a latitude crack. I was going to sand it and go over it with west system epoxy. I went on the web and ordered from house of kolors Chartreuse Neon. Was the color I was seeing on the forums. Did you use that color for that repair??
I would blueprint the sponsons with white gelcoat or white epoxy boat repair resin and the sand that but leave it rough with like a 800 grit sand paper so it has that milky sheen because it will break the tension of the water and make it go faster by not cause stication (where the water creates sort of a seal with the surface)
Sorry to hear that but the animal cat is a much better choice. I have one and it’s pretty solid hull. Not a fan of the cooling entry/exit setup but other than that very solid boat. Not gonna be the fastest either unless running on 8s. 👍🏼

Howard must be to busy these days. Sent him a message two weeks ago and no response. Looks like Oxidean animal cat v2 will be the fix for me.

Don't buff but scuff the bottom
Why not buff the bottom?
@@dwanecrow3622 a smooth surface causes drag beleave it or not. Sanding the bottom breaks the surface tension.
Scuff it with what grit??
