Just to clarify, War Eternal is a new stand alone game in the Aeon's End series. The original Aeon's End 1st edition should be avoided. Viewers should buy the 2nd edition of the original Aeon's End. The graphic design of the 1st edition was so terrible, the company quickly printed a 2nd edition which is the same game with far superior graphic design.
Thanks Rob. Everything is compatible. The only difference between the first and second editions of the original game is the graphic design. Art and card text are the same. Miniature Market only carries the improved graphics second edition. Just mentioning in case somebody picks up the original version second hand. Glad you enjoyed this game. It is a great game at all counts but shines best at three players.
Indie boards and cards did offer an update pack for the first edition content(everything pre- War Eternal). I would try and dropping them a line via email, and see if they have any available($10 + shipping) or you can outright buy it on MM. However I didn't get the dials or Breaches(which wasn't too bad since I own War Eternal) It's completely backwords compatible as is, they didn't change art for the back of the cards. Great game Love the over-view and thanks for bringing some light onto this gem :)
i think they provided an update pack of some sort. 2nd edition fixed a lot in the 2nd edition and in war eternal. Curious if you'll get the legacy version that'll be coming out. this is a game i'm hoping to pickup at some point.
