Apparently they have agreed a deal for Elliot Anderson now so they don't need to sell Gordon anymore

It was a lucky dip bid. The Newcasle deadline for ffp purposes is 30th. Liverpool stuck in a low ball optimistic bid, Newcastle tried to negotiate by asking for quansah & liverpool are not interested in negotiating further. That's my theory
Newcastle have agreed deals for Minteh 33M and Anderson 35 M so shouldn't be under pressure to sell Gordon on the cheap for PSR anymore
He would be a good player for us but the valuation is far too high. What has he done in the premier league that Harvey Barnes hasn’t for example?

Alright, Dunk, he does split opinion. I've always liked Gardon myself and think he's fit in, but the price their asking for was too much. If any deal does get made, I've got every confidence it'll be in our favour.

Newcastle have this evening accepted a £33m bid from Brighton for winger Yankuba Minteh,
so if this is true they dont have to sell Gordon I think as the reported £25 million they need will be covered, If I'm correct in my thinking.
I just hearing that the defender sale doesn't quite cover the PSR limit they need so Newcastle have 24 hours to get something done I guess we will see if we get him.

I don't think signing Gordon is a good signing. I think he's done OK at Newcastle. But we need to aiming higher that Gordon.
Plenty of rumours going around. Apparently we are signing 22 new players. Pretty silly really. But I do not think Gordon is top quality and that's what we need. Gordon is no better than Diaz. Maybe not even as good as. Not sure why we are looking at LW position anyway. If diaz was to go than go get Kvaratsheklia. Or someone of real Qua La Tee.
We need a CDM and a CB. I'd even look at a better LB than Tsmikas and one who can eventually take over from Robbo. I'd consider letting Nunez go if someone like Osimhen was available. Williams Jr looks really good. But he's a good option as he can play across the front. But Gordon MEH!

I just commented the same funnily enough. Newcastle overpaid for him at 45m when they signed him. 35-40m would have been a fair price in today’s market.
