- This video IS NOT a review of the train, as we have been involved with it's development, it's merely intended as a showcase and to give a developer insight into some aspects of the project, whilst looking at all of the main features along the way.
In this video Tom takes a drive in the Just Trains S8 Advanced Underground Stock. We will drive one of the included scenarios of the pack having a look at how you go about setting up the train and driving it correctly "most of the time"

I so miss the big older A stock trains that ran on the metropolitan line. Huge big comfortable seats.

It is one of the scenarios that comes with the train. the scenarios for the s8 addon pack are all on the London to Aylesbury route from Just trains

Will, there any FX improvement whilst moving?
When I try and drive, it only lets me go to 10MPH
Train Sim TV, does this London Underground S8 Stock need Chiltern Main Line or London To Aylesbury Route required?
To use the full features (CCTV markers for in cab screens,radio centre markers etc) you need London to Aylesbury,you'll be missing some features on other routes but it will work.
@@TrainSim_TV OK, but I will try it with the other routes, such as JustTrains Western Main Lines (Circle Line), and Virtual District Line because I remembered the S Stock trains runs on Circle Line by stopping at Royal Oak. So yeah, I'll get Chiltern Main Line: London To Birmingham and the London To Aylesbury Extension instead of getting London To Aylesburty stand-alone. Thanks for reminding me about getting the right route requirements for the full features.
This is a metropolitain line train to chesham calling at liverpool street,moorgate,barbican,farringdon,kings cross st pancres,euston square,great portland street,baker street,finchley road,wembley park,preston road,northwick park,harrow on the hill,nirth harrow,pinner,northwood hills,northwood,moor park,rickmansworth,chorley wood,chalfont and latimer and chesham :P what next all the stations on the district line ?

Metropolitan Line S8 Tube Stock
Nice video and showcase i downloaded the S8 but the cctv does not work in any scenario even though i stop in the correct place and one scenario fails to load, i have uninstalled and reinstalled product any ideas?
Best option is to raise a support ticket at Just Trains that way this can be investigated fully

I had the same issue. I had London to Aylesbury and London to Birmingham installed at the same time. I uninstalled the two routes and the S8 stock. Then I installed London to Aylesbury and then S8 stock and now the CCTV monitors work. I haven't actually installed London to Birmingham yet as I don't want the monitors to stop working. Hope this helps

Just a thought have you updated the chiltern mainline on the s8 release

@@zicoazeez3060 If there is 3rd and 4th rail it will work
@Adam Beckett Advanced will work to an extent on other routes. You wont get the Screen markers appear unless you add them to other routes. TCMS station names wont work on other routes. But you can add active event markers to any route of your choice and drive it still

Just trains should make a class 319 see what is better AP 319 or JT 319 :p or a 323
