I have a 1983 Honda ATC 185's (now 192cm3 after cylinder bore) I just got through restoring. It looks amazing & runs great, but it is a lot of work. It was well worth it👍
@@atcofnj5509 No problem man, enjoyed the video. Rode mine around the neighborhood last night for the 1st time & man that thing is fast & strong. Caming it up & oversized carburetor along with the bore & 200's exhaust has really woke this thing up.
My Dad bought a atc 185s brand new in 83 for roughly $1300 if I remember right. He would let it idle all day and pull a small utility trailer as he worked his property hauling brush and wood. She never quit on him not once. I remember sitting on it as a kid and playing with the switches... I wish he still had it. This started my Atc addiction I have today!
There are ways to weld plastic on your broken areas that don't cost too much, look at you tube tutorials on plastic welding atc fenders. I've done mine and it's pretty easy.
On the rear carry handle there is a “bolt hole””? Do you know what that’s for? My GF just bought a 1983 Honda 185s for me and in the pics she sent there’s something bolted in mine. Almost looks like a round foot peg? Is it for pushing/pulling possibly? Sorry if it’s a dumb question, had a big red 110 as a young kid and I’ve been wanting a Honda 3 wheeler again for a few years now (I’m now 41) an she happened to bump into one for sale and bought it. Thanks
They really are awesome and plain fun! I remember over 12 maybe even 15yrs ago I got a little 110 for next to nothing, then a 185s for free. I remember thinking how old they were(weren't though) then, life happened and they moved on to elsewhere. Now a couple months ago I found a 83 big red cheap, partially seized. Got her loosened up, then eventually running. Now I'm 2 25" mud lite at's into it plus about another $400 but, its going to live on.. I'll ride it around a year or so and if I sell it then I'll definitely still be coming out ahead. Reason being I like the 200 B.R. but really want a 84 for the reverse feature. There is a kit for reverse on the earlier model B.R. but you lose high range, having 5 reverse gears and 5 low range. Not my cup of tea, but a option anyway.
The 84 BR with reverse is a great trike but the 85/86/87 with reverse and full suspension is a game changer. Try to find yourself one of them. Thanks for watching!
Wow looks amazing,I used to have one back in the 80’s great job!
I had one the farm I grew up on wish I had taken better care of it.Thanks for the video.
Before I got my first car at 16, this is the exact machine that I basically lived on. Such good memories. Thanks for this.
I had a 1982 110.

nice, ill have to do a walk-around on mine, its super mint too, with a few hondaline goodies.
The Hondaline goodies are the best part! I added a rear rack to this one and love it.
I wish I still had mine

That decal looks like it says atc ass
Did you remove the rubber o rings on the carb when u cleaned it in the ultrasonic cleaner? Or can you leave them in place
Cool and all but making it run right should come before aesthetics
What? I got it running perfectly. Guess you didn’t watch the whole video.
